Formulated with Organic Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil (CSO) and green tea extract, the Biore® Daily Detox range works to gently detoxify and deep cleans pores, helping to get rid of deep down dirt, oil and pollution for blemish-free skin.  

Unlike other kinds of cannabis you may have heard of, Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil is legal and non-psychoactive. It’s derived from the hemp seeds of the Cannabis Sativa plant, and is a light, skin-compatible, nutrient-rich oil used in skin care formulas to provide essential moisture and nourishment.

Using the cleanser twice daily for the trial period, members found the Bioré® Daily Detox Cleanser to be a favourite of the range.  They instantly loved the consistency, pump packaging and its effectiveness at removing makeup as well as providing a deep clean. Majority found their skin was left soft and comfortable after use, with many noting the ingredients list was to their liking too, with no alcohol, as well as paraben and SLS/SLES free.

While some members prefaced that they tend to go for chemical exfoliants over physical, the reviews for the Bioré® Daily Detox Exfoliator were positive. Depending on their skin type, most members used it anywhere from 1-3 times per week, describing the texture as more like a cream and with fewer granules than a typical exfoliator. They were pleased to find salicylic acid on the ingredient list, known for benefiting blemish-prone skin, and many commented that their skin felt seriously smooth, cool and refreshed after use.

The Trial Team’s first impression of the Bioré® Daily Detox Toner was how generously sized the bottle is, with many noting it will last them a long while. Described by members as lightweight with a minty scent, those with oily skin praised it for refreshing their complexion without drying it out. Those with dry or sensitive skin found the alcohol-based formula was not as well suited to their skin type.

Overall, members were impressed with this affordable and effective range, noting that those with blemish-prone and oily skin would likely find one — if not all  —products to be to their liking.

“This cleanser really leaves my skin clean and smooth after a week of usage. Since the third ingredient is Glycerine, it is understandable why it leaves my skin so smooth and hydrated. I love how it leaves my skin feeling refreshed, like mint in your mouth, while using it. It may be due to the cannabis ingredient as there is no alcohol in the ingredient list. “The exfoliator comes in a plastic squeeze tube and doesn’t have an overly strong fragrance which I liked. The exfoliating beads are made of jojoba and are very gentle, but still are able to provide good exfoliation. “The daily detox exfoliator is my favourite of the range. The hemp based product is a gentle exfoliant, with not too much texture within the product. This would be great for those with sensitive skin, or those who like to keep things light. Because it’s so gentle on the skin, I’ve found I could use it daily, or every two to three days. “It definitely made my skin matte and clean, but also made it feel well hydrated and soft. even though, i’d make sure to moisturise after any toner of course. “I was fairly surprised by the toner. The product was scented, yet wasn’t overpowering. I used a cotton pad, as directed on the bottle, to apply the toner on my skin, and it definitely left my skin feeling cool, fresh and clarified. Because of the formulation, it’s best suited for oily to combination skin, as well as acne-prone skin. The formula, while refreshing, has a cooling affect which almost feels like it’s drying the top layer where product is applied.
