So many options to consider from for dry skinned people like me. Of these, I have tried The Body Shop and Sukin and they are quite good. My favourite, for years, has been the pink Lancome bottle of Tonique Confort. It is pure hydration in a bottle that my skin loves
I’ve never used a toner. I’ve tried plenty, but they all made my skin break out. But I’ll admit that it was a long time ago. There’s quite a few here that look interesting. Something to reconsider perhaps.
Really like the whole Body shop Vitamin E range and highly recommend the toner especially for those with sensitive skin. I use these products on my 81 year old mums skin as well and they are so soothing.
I use rosewater that come in big glass bottles, from ethnic supermarkets. Pop it into indigo (uv safe) glass fine mist spray and voila, diy rose mist toner. It is sweet smelling (like real crushed rose petals), soothes the skin and rehydrates my skincare during the day. Plus so refreshing. And edible
If I get my hands on that Ella Bache one (oooh, the bottle looks pretty), would not mind… being a bit boujee =D
I could do with a good toner and my pick of this particular group would be the Paula's Choice. Having said that though, I would probably look at some other brands before committing
When I was at the spa the other day they informed me that my skin is Normal/oily which surprised me as I would have said normal/dry. But at the same time they said hydrating products are good.
Tagging this for later reference. I have an Andalou toner that I occasionally remember to use at the moment and it does a decent job. If I ever get through it I’ll come back and look at the options here.
Surprised to see so many in mist form. I’m currently alternating between Jurlique rose water mist (absolutely divine) but find the Avene gentle toner more moisturising
I don't use toner as regularly as I did when I was younger; only now and again. The ones I use aren't found on store shelves. They are both from L'Oreal Paris. The Revitalift Rejuvenating Toner I bought online and the Revitalift Anti-Aging + Firming Aqua Milky Toner, I bought Overseas. The only reason I bought these was to use it in conjunction with my other L'Oreal Paris Revitalift skin products to complete the full skin care regime.

Whenever I use a toner I notice the benefits but I don't use it daily – probably should though!

I've recently bought the Blessed toner and am looking forward to trying it
Yes to the Alpha H mist it is fantastic!! Swisse also has a good one, the deep sea mist. That should be added onto this list
Such a great list of wonderful products to choose from really like the Natio Ageless Rehydrating Toner, Natio products are always great.

great suggestions – these are too heavy for me
Love the sukin toner. Also got a sample of the new olay mist toner and whilst I usually haven't been a big olay fan, I really like the formula
It is a good range, I haven’t tried the toner though. I have a TBS voucher so maybe it is time to try it
I always use toner. I use it twice a day. I’m using a Clarins toner atm – the aloe one. It’s my favourite.
The body shop and in is free does really good toners
I like the Natio.
I always use a toner right after cleansing my face. The Ella bache toner ingredients caught my eye.
Love Natio and want to try The Body Shop toners.
I found the Abeeco toner really great when I had it – all finished now though! Also the Natio one that I had once was pretty good.

I use an essence, which is like a hydrating toner
Not something I use, used to years ago but not anymore.
I love the rose mist too!! I'll add the Avene to my list (that's one item of theirs I haven't tried)
I love toning. I didn't tone for years because it didn't seem effective but lately I'm into it.
The Kotia one sounds really nice!
Not a fan of a few of these and I am a dry skin type. Laneige Cream Skin Refiner is my recommendation.
I love face mists!!
Interesting article

I don’t really use toners all that much
Oh I hope you'll like it Dara! I never really understood toners until this one. It's like a lighter version of essence
I used a face mist , but I buy only every now and then , it's not one of my must have products.
I've recently started using the Pixi glow tonic. TBH, I can't see what all the hype is, maybe it is not the best thing for oily skin.
I would love to try the deer milk – Kotia range.
I love toners! My skin just feels so much better when I am using a good toner it helps my moisturiser work better too.
I don't use any toner as i find it makes my skin oily
Sukin Naturals Hydrating Mist Toner is not hydrating at all for me.
I've used the natio one in the past and it was lovely. Currently using one from Lush (Eua de something) and I love it!
Blessed is great!
I've been using The Body Shop British Rose Petal-Soft Gel Toner for a year now, it soothed and hydrated my skin without breaking me out.
I like to use a hydrating toner in the winter as areas my face dry out from the cold. Great selection listed.
I badly need to purchase a good toner, I haven't found one that I really like and think its worth it. Paula's choice is a great brand
Skin physics oxygen c hydrating toner is amazing. Highly recommend that one
oh i do so love my toner
I use a toner daily and the only mentioned toner I've used is the Natio.
I'm lucky that I don't have dry skin.
