I do have a balm on my bedside table – it's the beauty chef's balm. I tend to use it on my lips at night if my usual night lip balm by Clinique has rolled off the bedside table.
Have not used balms before, thought that they are little heavy for skin and thus cause breakouts.
But it maybe a good investment for the winter times when the skin needs a little more hydration!

Im actually having a major problem with splits at the corners of my mouth. Ive tried so many things to get rid of them and nothing is working. Im now going to try the Trilogy Balm and see what happens.

I've only ever used balms on my lips. I am building up a stash of balms so maybe I need to multipurpose them to go through them faster?

I saw Trilogy had a lavender version of the balm a while ago. Wish they would re-release. I am also keen to try the Weleda Foot Balm.
I use lip balms regularly and have tried foot balms but I wasn't aware of cleansing balms until now.

I have lots of lip balms and have used a few cleansing balms. The cleansing balms are not my favourite as I’m not a big fan of oils. I have almost finished a L’Occitane multipurpose balm which has been good so I should look at the ones in the article for a replacement.

I have tried quite a few brands of lip balm. The result has been dryer lips than what I started. The only two that work for me are Burt Bees (I use the tinted balm) and plain old Petroleum Jelly (aka Vaseline).
I swear by Lucas's pawpaw ointment, so many uses!
I have a stash of Avon products also in my cupboard. I think avon must have done quite well off aussie customers when they announced they were leaving us here downunder.

I use Aveeno Dermexa balm as a hand cream at bed time-after I apply Cerave SA cream. My hands have really improved from using this duo, and I wouldn't be without lip balm.
I love a great all rounder balm for dry winter skin.
