What ingredients should you look for in a moisturiser for mature skin?
Well first off, let’s start with a couple of reminders. 1. Drink your water, it’s necessary. 2. Avoid piping hot showers, or at least leave your face out of the firing line.
For key ingredients in your skin care, look for collagen supporting, ultra-hydrating picks like ceramides, hyaluronic acids and peptides, along with any other lusciously nourishing oils.

Do you have a favourite moisturiser? Would you use a moisturiser for mature skin?
I got Welda product to trial and really liked them. The Weleda Contouring Night Cream looks good.
I’m currently using a CeraVe moisturiser which is pretty good
So many great choices
Yes I’m 37 and starting to notice the changes and am thinking what hydration and foundations might serve me better. Starting to get some extra dryness and foundation or tinted moisturiser sometimes looks a bit like cracked floor tiles.
Yes I would use a moisturizer for mature skin.
I have a few, Welleda and Sukin are some of them.
I love Clinique products so keen to try that moisturiser.
Some of these are way too expensive. Do they work though? Guess will have to read some reviews. If they are going to have an article about mature skin, why is the photo of someone in their 20s?
The Weleda one does look very nice
I’ve used the John Plunkett’s, Glow Lab, Clinique and No.7 and liked them all.
I have so many tubs of Egyptian Magic. It’s awesome.
I would use Cetaphil Optimal Hydration Healthy Glow Daily Cream.
Great brands and ones that certainly hydrate. I’ve used three of them and they are equal in performance.
The only one I’ve tried is Clinique and htat really didn’t work for my skin.
I don’t have a favourite moisturiser, but I do like a mature one as the ingredients are more nourishing.
I would love to try all of these, my skin has been so dry lately
Love the Clinique moisturiser. The intensive one has been especially good during Winter.
Haven’t tried any of those brands.
I haven’t tried any of these; Weleda’s one sounds good
Interesting, the Egyptian one id be keen to try.
Clinique is amazing.
Weleda have some lovely new products
Clinique Moisture Surge is great on my skin.
I do like the No7 suggestion – this is a great cream. One I repurchase regularly.
Haven’t tried any of those, but both the Weleda and Egyptian Magic sound good.
I am currently using Glow culture.
Egyptian Magic looks interesting
