Keeping skin moisturised is a must when you have eczema.
The dry skin condition relies on topical applications of emollients, moisturisers and creams in order to hydrate the skin and create a barrier between the skin and external elements.
However, when it comes to selecting a moisturiser for eczema it’s important to pay close attention to the ingredients list. Ingredients such as fragrance can cause further irritation, while ceramides, colloidal oatmeal, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, glycerin and aloe are all excellent at soothing skin and reinforcing the skin’s natural moisture barrier.
It’s also vital to choose a moisturiser with an occlusive formula that helps to create an almost second skin and retain moisture levels.
Thankfully, there’s a host of reliable options on the market that cater to everyone’s tastes and budgets. Here, you’ll find beautyheaven’s top moisturiser picks for eczema.
