If you, like us, are a Kmart aficionado, you’ll know the hold the department store has over us beauty lovers. You go in to pick up a new mug, and next thing you know you’re walking out with a bag full of budget beauty buys and a whole new skin care routine.
And that dilemma is only going to get worse, because the spring Kmart beauty range includes a new Aussie-made skin care line. The collection is focused on hydration (perfect for curing that post-winter dryness) and formulated with targeted ingredients such as niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. It includes a range of serums ($6 each), pimple patches ($4 each) and sheet masks ($2.25 each). Your skin care routine is totally sorted!
You’ll also be able to snag a few body care essentials for just $4 each, from body scrubs to foot scrubs and all your scalp care staples.
Kmart is also launching Hairitage by Mindy McKnight into stores, a vegan and cruelty-free haircare range designed for the whole family. The Hairitage range consists of hair essentials from shampoo and conditioner to hair masks and styling products. The best part? Each product in the Hairitage by Mindy line costs just $10! Talk about a steal…
What else is new from Kmart beauty?
Planning on heading into your nearest Kmart to get your hands on the new launches? You may as well pick up a few other goods while you’re there! The $4.50 heatless hair roller is definitely worth the hype (check out our Kmart hair roller review!).
Kmart’s OXX Cosmetics new range includes buildable cream blush and highlighters to help you achieve the dewy skin of your dreams for just $4. Our pick of the lot? The $8 lip kit. The kit looks to be the perfect shade match for the Charlotte Tilbury Pillowtalk Lipstick in medium.
We’ve also got our eyes on the OXX cosmetics 28-shade nude eyeshadow palette ($18). And if you’re feeling extra festive, treat yourself to an OXX Cosmetics 12 Days Of Christmas Advent Calendar ($22). It’s never too early to start the celebration!
If these goodies happen to sell out before your next trip to Kmart (they’re bound to fly off the shelves), it’s worth checking out the Vitamin C & Collagen Day Serum ($6) and e.l.f.’s new Hydrating Camo Concealer ($10).
Have you tried Kmart beauty before? Which of these products would you most like to try?
I’ve never purchased makeup or skincare from Kmart. I would consider them after reading reviews.
I haven’t either.
Yeah, I feel the same way.
I suppose if it is cheap and affordable, it doesn’t hurt to just try one product and see how it goes.
The lip kit looks nice. I really like the colour.
I like the sound of hairitage. But i will have to check the ingredients list first.
Same here. If its full of chemicals and palm oil, I won’t try it no matter how cheap it is.
The OXX Advent calendar looks fabulous!
It caught my eye too @Trish_D
I agree!
Don’t think I’d use their skincare and would look at the ingredients first if I was going to.
Yes I feel the same
Exactly, and most likely made in China.
I only tried some body scrub last year.
Great budget options anyway.
Wow, intrigued by the skincare
I’d be worried about paying only $6 for a serum
That would have to be the cheapestI have ever seen
Can’t be too much in it
It’s made in China, that is why it is $6.
That makes sense now.
I haven’t tried K Mart beauty before
I would need to read reviews first.
Pimple patches for $4?! I’m running there now!
I wonder if it works well.
It sure is economical
Very affordable!
I’m not interested in these products but I am interested to read some of the reviews.
I tried one of their matte lippies that other day and was pleasently surprised. Will be going back for more!
So affordable. Advent calendar on my wishlist.
Wow it’s cheap, must be made in China as is all Kmart stuff. Sorry prefer to buy Australian products.
Ohhh great! another reason to go to Kmart!!! I need to restock my make-up. I’ve never purchased make-up items from Kmart ever, but after reading this, it is certainly worth considering. Love the look of the Lip kit and also the Salicylic Acid & Retinol.
I’d try the skincare range. If they didn’t work then I wouldn’t be losing out too much.
So true –
I have previously bought make-up from Kmart and has always been of good quality, however have seem reviews recently about the 12 days of beauty advent calendar that haven’t been positive
Oh, not happy to hear about the reviews for the advent calendar are not good.
Good to know so make up is worth trying
I would try the salicylic acid serum and pimple patches
They are certainly worth a try, especially if Australian made.
They aren’t all made in Australia. I just checked.
Thanks, Jrobin26 – I went to their website & clicked on the images & you’re right! I’m so disappointed!
Some wonderful Serums and Cosmetics from Kmart unfortunately I am so far away from my nearest Kmart.
The advent calendar looks good?
The advent calendar looks really cute 💕
I’ve been given a few sheet masks from Kmart. One was a Davidson Plum one that smelt gorgeous.
The advent calendar looks like a good option for my daughters, they are too old for the old chocolate ones now :'(
Great news. I’ll have to check them out
I used the brightening serum which I think was discontinued. I don’t think I would be interested in trying these.
My teen loves the skin sheet masks.
The eye shadow palette looks really pretty, a cute stocking stuffer.
I have tried some Kmart beauty before and great ones here, will take a look.
I have tried the lip oil and it was nice
Also great price for a starter or teen buying makeup and skincare for the first time.
I haven’t tried Kmart beauty before, but these sound like great products to get my daughter started – and I might even steal some!
Oo I’ve never tried Kmart Beauty, i’m kinda interested now. I wonder if the New Zealand Kmart will have the advent calendar
Which products mentioned in the article are made in Australia? I just went on the website and so far everything is made in China…
never bought skincare from K-Mart before but I’m willing to give some a go if it’s Aussie made!
I would like to read some reviews on these products
I buy the odd skincare item from Kmart every now and again. While I’m yet to be wowed I haven’t been disappointed either.
I would love to try lip stick.
These products are so inexpensive. It makes me wonder about the quality of the ingredients.
I’ve used an e.l.f. eyeshadow & was surprised at the quality – it’s finely milled & endured well.
Both e.l.f. and BYS are affordable brands with some very good products.
Matte lip kit looks too cute!!
I don’t think the skincare is made in Australia, I’ve only seen “Made in China” on the bottles 🙁
Oh wow, so cheap!! I wonder if it is good.
I love Kmart but I’ve never tried their skincare. I might have to take a closer look.
I’d be very wary as so many of their products are made in China.
Definitely worth a look if only to check out the ingredient list and Made in tag
Not sure whether I would try them
I love the colours in that eyeshadow palette 🙂
They look nice but i need to ask…why they so cheap
