It’s impossible for women to try every single beauty product ever created (you can trust us on that one!). So in the lead-up to our Best In Beauty Awards, we thought we’d give our members the opportunity to try as many nominated products as possible.
Enter the Best In Beauty Marketplace – a day where members can attend a session at our office to learn about some goodies they might not have otherwise come across. Unlike our other key event, Beauty Degustation, our members could bring along a friend, wander around the different stations and peruse the products as they pleased – more like a market.
So, what nominated treats did our members test?
Manicare Ergonomic 4-way Buffer
Manicare experts showed our members exactly how to use the uniquely designed buffer, with extremely shiny results.
Revitanail Nail Strengthener
Those with weak, splitting nails were stoked to see a nail strengthener in sight. This beauty helps to harden and protect nails, making them stronger.
Glam by Manicare Fashion Eyelashes Miranda Lashes
With the help of Glam by Manicare experts, members were able to apply the lashes flawlessly. We’ve never seen so many fluttery, flirty eyes in the one place!
Skin Physics Dragon’s Blood Facial Sculpting Gel
Members were educated about this anti-ageing wonder and the key ingredients used to help regenerate, plump and protect the skin. (And don’t worry, it doesn’t actually contain blood – it gets its name from a certain type of tree sap.)
Rimmel London Brow Styling Gel
After being matched to a shade, the gel was demonstrated on one brow at a time, so the members could see exactly how much of a difference the product could make.
Sunsense Moisturising Face SPF 50+
Surprised was the most common reaction at the Sunsense station. As members rubbed the moisturiser into their skin, they couldn’t believe such a lightweight and fast-absorbing product contained SPF50+.
