What are your tips for staying cool? Have you ever used a facial mist?
I’ve carried a small bottle of Jurlique rosewater mist in my handbag every summer for many years and it really helps when heat gets out of control.
This sounds nice. Jurlique is so good
Haven’t tried that one but love rosewater so perhaps next time I will try
I love rosewater too. Smells soooo good.
I also love that mist Trish. 🥰🌹
Jurlique’s rosewater mist was the first Jurlique product I tried.
Mate that Clinique moisture surge spray is the best one I’ve tried. Also love the la Roche Zinc based one too for summer oilness. Also love the skinceuticals phyto spray but only if you have $$$$ extra. Love a quick spray. Actually Kmart have some decent ones for a few $. Recommend the manuka honey one.
Always need to look for glycerine in ingredients for a good one
I’ve gotten into mists over the last 2 years. Currently using Garnier Organics Argan Nourishing Mist. I use it every time I get out of the shower on my face and neck. It seems to do some good.
I have previously used Sukin. I still have a small amount in the bottle to use up. Great for cooling down.
that garnier one sounds nice… havent heard of it
I stay cool by eating melons, especially watermelon is very very cooling!
Mists…I still use food grade pure rosewater that comes in glass bottles (I buy at food markets and pop into fine mist sprayer bottle), soothing and good to soften/calm skin after washing.
I must admist that I have never tried a facial spray.
Great if you are like me and can’t cope with the humidity
I’ve tried Sukin mist toner, but it didn’t wow me. I haven’t tried any others.
I always use Trilogy and love the way it makes my skin feel on sticky hot days
That’s good to know JuJu47. I haven’t tried it, but I do like other Trilogy products.
I currently have both the Thalgo facial mist and the Ultraceuticals one I love to incorporate them in my skincare routine but also by leaving a bottle next to my bathroom basin to refresh and hydrate my skin.
So many great facial mists to choose from!
I really like them, I have used the La Roche Posay one before and am currently using Avene.
Obsessed with face mists! Only tried La Roche and love Avene. Trilogy looks gorg. Currently got Nude by Nature Setting Spray and a mini Jurlique on the go.
Rosewater chilled is lovely. I tried cucumber mist and it felt nice but irritated my skin
They sound perfect for a hot summer’s day.
I have just discovered the Thermale spring water spray love it so much!
La Roche-Posay looks good. On my wish list.
I’ve used the La Roche Posay and a couple of others but my favourite is Avene.
I would rather dunk my head in water.
I always use a facial mist after cleansing, but sometimes I’ll use a thermal water mist on really hot days. Currently trying to get through an Avene one, but I normally go for the Evian one (which you can find at very select Chemist Warehouse stores) as it has a finer mister.
I’ve just started getting into using a mist – it feels so lovely on my skin. I was gifted a MECCA one and I love it 🙂
I have the La Roche posay thermal spring water mist next to be used, just in time for the warmer weather.
Really like Avene and Jurlique water spray mists.
Misting is not something that I usually do. This article has reminded me that I have some Avene Thermale water which I was gifted and haven’t got around to using it. I must try it.
I have several bottles of the Jurlique Rosewater Mist everywhere. I also used the Avene mist during summer.
Love spray mists and I use one everyday as I badly need the extra hydration – even carry a small one in my handbag!
I usually use Avene but in the past have used Evian. Have recently been also trying the Edelweiss facial mist and Vitamin C facial mist from The Body Shop. They are also great to use after a workout at the gym.
I take my spritz to work
This just seems wasteful to me, when you could just splash cold water on your face
I like to keep a mist in my fridge for extra refreshment.
Trilogy’s one with rose and lavender sounds lovely to me
Drink lots of water and good hydrating mask also great.
I love my facial mists straight from the fridge, and i love my Rose water mist (homemade)
The LRP one is great. I use it to help my serums absorb
Great article thanks for the info
Misting in summer certainly makes sense
Some great Face Mists available a lot to choose from.
I haven’t tried any of these.
I use Sukin face mist, it is refreshing, especially if it’s kept in the fridge.
I’ve got the Arden one and the LRP water, both are nice
Great when you are having a hot flush at work lol
I use La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water Mist all the time. I keep a bottle in the fridge for a great cooling pickup on those hot humid days
Always use a facial mist no matter what the season is as part of my regular daily routine but especially in summer when I need extra hydration or after a gym workout. I usually use Avene, La Roche Posay and The Body Shop Vitamin C or Edelweiss ones.
Oh i love using toner mists in summer! I love putting them in the fridge and using them straight from the fridge. And if i have run out i love filling up my spray bottle with Rose water. So refreshing
I like to keep a facial mist in the fridge – it’s so refreshing in summer.
I have the Clinique Moisture Surge spray and I love it, so refreshing.
Oops! I didn’t see the Avene…I have that one too. Another one that I love.
I love the LRP one. It was out of stock so I swapped to the Avene one on my last purchase and just about to give that a go
Repeat article.
