Remember when getting rid of the actual pimple was the hardest part? Oh, we didn’t know how lucky we were. But the moment we think we’ve gotten rid of our acne and are confident enough to pick up a tinted moisturiser instead of foundation, we’re greeted by the little reminders it’s left behind. Often, acne scars appear in the form of discolouration and textural marks, or if you’ve popped one a little too hard, a stubborn purple spot with no plans to leave.
Scarring isn’t always caused by poorly managed pimples; sometimes our blemishes are so large, angry, and deep that however we treat them, they’ll leave a mark. But alhough avoiding acne scars (in certain circumstances) may be impossible, fading and repairing them isn’t.
With the right lineup of products in your arsenal, you can address minor textural imperfections and fade discolouration caused by acne. For the products you needed to be using yesterday, keep scrolling…

Do you have acne scars? What treatments or products have you tried and have they been successful?
Good to see a selection of products that target these problems
Luckily I don’t have any scars from those days.
Very useful for those with acne scars.
I’ve thankfully not ever had this problem but I do feel for anyone who has.
I do suffer from post acne scars. I found that murad Invisiscar Blemish Treatment in combination with murad smoothing polish has helped.
I’ve rarely had cystic acne, just regular zits. The red spots from healed zits used to linger for months! I find plain old rosehip oil clears them up quickly.
nice to see different products listed
I had quite bad acne as a teen, went to a gp for something else and was referred to a dermatologist for my skin. Luckily I don’t have any issues with scarring.
These look awesome
My scars from 20s healed eventually. I had a very bad skin due to dietary choices.
No acne scars. One under 5c piece of hyperpigmentation on a cheek. I would love to Fade that.
Are we getting ads now? When using a phone. There are what appear to be articles but then link to sites to buy…. Bike pants, serums etc etc. with a SHOp Now button.
Great selection of products!
John Plunkett’s SuperFade De Pigment Moisturiser works for me.
Getting rid of acne scars is the worst and it’s even harder when you always have hormonal acne popping up
No scars here.
I would like to try the Biologi Bd Luminosity Face Serum.
Yes I’d like to try that too
Thankfully I never got scars
I was very fortunate in that I never suffered from acne.
I used to have a lot of acne scarring – I used a tonic of Vitamin C + Hydroquinone when I was in my late mid twenties to remove them and it worked.
Heard good things about Clemence and Biologi but yet to try. The featured products look great!

I am not familiar with any of these brands.
No acne scars, just pigmentation from certain medications I have been using the SC product for a few months now and it is showing very promising results.
I love DermalMD Acne Serum! I have oily skin and get cystic acne around my chin, and using this serum has made a huge difference in my complexion. It did take a couple days for my skin to get used to it, but I didn’t have any redness or irritation. I highly recommend if you have stubborn acne. It’s also slowly helping with some hyper pigmentation, but have yet to see a huge change there.
i need this at the moment… cry… pih
I have some acne scars from a current acne breakout. I don’t own or have tried any of the products listed but I think there may be some products in my stash I’m hoping may help reduce my acne scarring.
I think my daughter is finally winning her battle with acne, so it might be time to try one of these products.
Not a problem for me.
