Very recently I was invited to an overnight launch with Pevonia to celebrate the launch of their newest product, Lumafirm Lift & Glow. The destination was Brisbane, and we had one amazing itinerary set out for us.
On Wednesday morning I met 16 of my fellow Beauty Ed friends at the domestic airport, where we boarded a plane to sunny Brisbane. Once there, after ooohing and ahhhing over the glorious weather, we were taken to an ‘Aerial Yoga’ class – the only class of its kind available in the country. We felt like trapeze artists as we hung from the hammock style sheet and stretched our bodies out by doing elevated yoga poses. It was incredible.
Next, we were whisked off to the beautiful Marriot hotel in the heart of Brisbane. After a quick high tea lunch we were then indulged with a glorious facial in the hotel spa using the brand new Pevonia Lumafirm products. I settled for a light dusting of mineral foundation, a slick of lippy and mascara and was escorted to a presentation at Lime Bar in Brisbane city, where we sipped on lychee cocktails before heading to the amazing Summit restaurant for a three-course feast.
But that wasn’t the end, oh no. After getting into bed and sleeping for what felt like an hour, we received our 4:30am wake-up call, and were carted, sleepy-eyed, to a field nearby where our hot air balloons were to take off. Now I am not a morning person by any means, but watching the sunrise from a hot air balloon floating over Brisbane city was enough to make me want to turn into a permanent early riser. Thank you Pevonia!
