Big news in beauty
- L’Occitane (AKA the beautiful French skin care brand we all know and love) has officially appointed a celebrity ambassador specifically for Asia and Australia. In this first time move by the brand we’ll be seeing KPOP star Mingyu of SEVENTEEN become the face. Given his appreciation for their Provincial ethos and genuine love for their products, it’s a perfect fit.
- You know skin care giant The Ordinary? Well their parent company Deciem (known for a bit of a tumultuous run) has been acquired by none other than beauty powerhouse Estée Lauder Companies (ELC). The move was natural as ELC already had stock in the company, and with the innovation behind the two companies we’re sure more skin-loving products are on the way soon.
- If the seriously sumptuous scents of Ecoya tickle your olfactory senses, then we’ve got news for you! The fragrance house is back at it again. With their recent plug in diffuser launch being so wildly successful, consumers have sold them out of the item multiple times over. Basically, if you want your home to smell incredible (and who doesn’t?), you need to grab one while they’re still in stock ($49.95 at Myer).

What new products are you looking forward to trying?
Love the idea of the Australis refillable lipsticks.
Never heard of this before. Good idea??
I am not so sure, the outside packaging, especially if its not a premium brand, is going to look rather old and tatttered, and popping a new lippie in it would be sad
The price for the refill is the same as for the whole so probably will be easier to buy a whole new one
Never thought of that, but yes you are right and if the same price, no saving to buy refill. Just buy the new one.
sounds good.
My Mum has been using MOR Marshmallow for years 🙂
I have my eye on quite a few.
Yes Only me as well!!
Don’t know how I feel about EL taking over TO completely but I suppose that was inevitable.
yeah not keen on that but seems to be a common occurrence in the beauty industry
Yeah I hope they don’t change their products because I really like The Ordinary
I like the Ordinary range too.
unfortunately it is common these days.
Refillable lippies interesting
yes could be a good idea
Saves on packaging, and hopefully on costs too.
Yes not sure how it would work??
The Maybelline mascara looks good
I’d also be interested in trying the lip plumping oil
I like the sound of that too
The Rodan and fields lip products look tempting
Probably the gentle exfoliating face scrub.
I like the look of theTRESemmé Lamellar Shine Range. I prefer a smaller bottle, but better value in a big bottle.
Benefit, shut up and take my money!
The Ordinary already have a big selection of products, it will be interesting to see what else they come up with.
I really like Skin Physics and the Skin Physics 15% Vitamin C + Ferulic Acid Serum looks nice
Some interesting products there. Thanks for the round up.
That is really interesting that The Ordinary and Estee Lauder are merging – watch this space!
I really want to try Skin physics products
Interesting news! Love the looks of the Rodin and Fields lip oil
I really wanted to try refillable lipstick. I love the idea.
