Bargain beauty buys

I’ve been interning at Beauty Heaven for a few weeks now and I can safely tell you that it would be near impossible to find an office as obsessed with beauty products. From skin care creams to finding the perfect shade of red lipstick; these guys are complete beauty freaks.

But besides being absolute make-up nutters, they’ve turned out to be quite human, hearts and all. They know that paying rent, going on that family holiday or saving for that dream wedding should be higher on the priority list than that expensive miracle cream. So they’ve given me the task of finding affordable beauty products that do just as good a job, if not better, than their expensive counterparts. All under $15 these products will be kind to your body and your bank account. (Don’t forget to thank us in your wedding toast!)

Clearasil Daily Clear Skin Perfecting Wash $9.99

One of life’s eternal struggles; finding a face wash that will get rid of any nasty imperfections but still be gentle enough to use every day. It’s not much to ask is it? Clearasil have come to the rescue with a face wash that gently exfoliates skin with micro-beads while leaving it smooth and hydrated. The price is more than reasonable and proves you don’t need to spend a fortune to get great looking skin.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick by Kate Moss $12.95

Rimmel London has a wide range of affordable products, but Kate Moss’s Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick has to be one of the best. Surprisingly moisturising with the matte finish, it won’t crack and stays on all night. Try it in no.107 for the perfect winter pout.

Dove Therapy- Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Nutri-Oil Serum – $9.99

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream $13.95

Garnier are letting you in on the BB craze for a very reasonable price. Oily skin types opt for the oil-free version.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Night Renewal Cream $12.99

Night creams don’t all have to be extreme anti-ageing treatments or the price of ones either. A super rich moisturising and reviving cream can work wonders on your skin. Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Night Renewal Cream contains retinol for renewal, peptides to plump skin and milk proteins to improve texture and tone.

Kiss Me by So…? Fragrances $14.95 (30ml)
