ghly recommend this product to anyone with sensitive skin. For quiet some time now I have been looking for a facial sunscreen that doesn’t make my face dry, irritated or red and blotchy. Banana Boat Simply Protect Sensitive Body SPF50+ is everything I have been searching for in a sunscreen! When I first opened and felt the product, I was concerned it was going to be just like every other zinc sunscreen – thick war paint that feels awful on your skin. I was wrong. Unlike other zinc products, Banana Boat Simply Protect Sensitive Body SPF50+ didn’t leave a white residue and was not drying on my skin. If I use regular sunscreen on my face, the night after my skin is red and blotchy, it almost looks as if I am sunburnt. I did not experience this with Banana Boat Simply Protect Sensitive Body SPF50+. When I washed it off at night, my skin looked as good as when I put it on. As a beach loving girl from a coastal town, I will definitely be purchasing and using Banana Boat Simply Protect Sensitive Body SPF50+ regularly and I recommend this product to anyone looking for a hypoallergenic sunscreen option.”…read more reviews here

s lucky enough to be chosen to review the Banana Boat Simply Protect Sensitive sunscreen. It was a bit tricky to review it in winter but I did my best. I have sensitive skin and take sun protection very seriously. The sunscreen in 50 plus which is a must in the harsh Australian sun. The difference is that it is not made with any Oxybenzone or Parabens but does contain naturally sourced zinc. The sunscreen is of a slightly thick consistency which I personally like as it makes it easier to apply and also means you get a good coverage. It is absorbed into the skin quite readily too which I also liked. It did not seem to cause any irritation which is very important for those with sensitive skin. It also had very little scent which is good as some sunscreen is very strong smelling. I wasn’t able to really try out how well it worked as there were no sunny enough days but I will definitely be using it this summer.”…read more reviews here

er go-to sunscreen from the trusted brand Banana Boat!

g a pale girl with a high tendency for sunburn, I was super excited to trial a new sunscreen. I have used a lot of Banana Boat’s sunscreen ranges in the past, so I was curious to see what they did differently this time. First off I will touch on the ‘sensitive’ aspect to this product. I definitely think this is suitable for sensitive skin (and eyes). It is a nice formulation that doesn’t have hidden nasties in it. I also applied it all over my face and I didn’t have any eye sensitivity throughout the day (major win!) As it is a zinc-based sunscreen and has a high SPF, this is sure to protect impecably. Though I trialled this in Winter, I am sure that I will put this to good use going into Spring/Summer as a body sunscreen. Whilst I didn’t mind the feel of this on the face, I will probably still opt for other sunscreens to use on the face as I still find this to be slightly greasy/tacky (though much, much less so than Banana Boat’s other sunscreens). I generally prefer the feel of this sunscreen over some of their other ones as it is less on the oily side, so I am definitely going to put this to regular use on the body. I will say that it is a bit tougher to rub in though due to its zinc base, so it needs a little TLC. Best not to be applied in a rush.”…read more reviews here

ly a hypoallergenic physical sunscreen!

na Boat is recently released a sunscreen for those with sensitive skin in the simply protect range, which we were delighted to try. A typical tube with a matte finish. It’s spf 50+ which appears to be the maximum around here, covering both uva and uvb, with naturally sourced zinc, this is a physical blocker that reflects and scatters UV radiation, rather than chemical, which is great as I’m allergic to Oxybenzone (horror movie scene, but pretty much causes my skin to burn and bleed – only activated by the sin). It’s also free of parabens and hypoallergenic. Comes out thick though easy to rub in, it does have a light scent of what I’d describe as a light/medium sunscreen scent. This is for your body, though I also used on my face (that’s how confident I was that I wasn’t going to have a reaction). It does give you that white glow/cast, if you’re into that that’s cool, but this is definitely one for the body. Definitely looking forwards to using this more in summer.”…read more reviews here

ralian Made , the tube is clearly and well labelled. I loved the sun safety directions on the back of the tube which also included small pictures for each direction.It tells you in detail the amount of product that you should be applying to each part of the body. On first application the cream appeared a little thick and oily as it was applied to the skin but as per directions it did soak into the skin and dry after a few minutes. It catered well for my family ,all of us have fair and sensitive skin. We used this product on a very warm day and found it to worked well.No sunburn! It needs to be reapplied more often when sweating or every 2 hours if you are swimming. I could not detect any fragrance which is a plus for me. Active ingredients: Zinc Oxide 25% w/w. Product does not contain Oxybenzone or Parabens. A very good sunscreen that provided maximum protection.”…read more reviews here
