, The Aveda Invati Advanced 3-Step System is made up of three products that work to reduce hair loss and breakage and in turn, promote longer and stronger hair and a healthier scalp. The Aveda Invati Advanced™ Exfoliating Shampoo is the first step in the system and is formulated with wintergreen-derived salicylic acid to cleanse and exfoliate the scalp. The second step in the system is the Aveda Invati Advanced™ Thickening Conditioner. The conditioner is made up of naturally derived amino acids to strengthen hair and instantly thicken it. Finally, the Aveda Invati Advanced™ Scalp Revitalizer is a once-daily treatment you spritz into hair to encourage hair growth and reduce hair loss. The revitalizer formula works to support the hair’s natural keratin, invigorate the scalp when massaged in, lift hair at the root and make hair instantly thicker. Most triallers found that the Aveda Invati Advanced 3-Step System strengthened their hair and visibly improved its density. The consistency is great, not too runny and yet not thick. It doesn’t lather as well as other products but if you put enough product and mix with water you can get some mild lather which does make your hair feel clean. What I have noticed after 3 months is that my hair hasn’t been shedding as much as it used to. Granted I still get shedding but it’s not the same amount as before. I feel like I’ve seen some improvement with my hair with regards to volume. It looks thicker and when I’m styling my hair it has that light, bouncy feel so it doesn’t fall flat. I still find this a great conditioner to use, it rinses out easily and generally keeps my hair moisturised. I normally have wavy/frizzy hair, and since using this conditioner my hair has been so much smoother and easier to style every day. This I think is due to the natural ingredients in Aveda products and this conditioner just works really for my hair type. Having used the conditioner and other Aveda products for a couple of months now I would say they are working well to help with hair thinning. My hair is a lot shinier, easier to message and then is less of it on the floor after washing and brushing my hair. I still have thin patches but it seems less noticeable so I am enjoying the slow for gradual progress of using these products. The only thing to note is that sometimes I can feel that I would like this conditioner to be a bit more moisturising. When this happens I tend to use a treatment or serum to address this concern and then my hair is fine again. It promises to strengthen and thicken the hair and give hair a lift at the roots. It is easy and fuss free to use in a pump bottle that spritzes out a measured dose each time. I find it best to use after the hair is towelled dry. When it’s not a hair-wash day, I would dampen hair a little before applying. I find that using it straight on dry hair makes the hair clump together and gives it a gel-like feel and look. There is a slight tingle when it is spritzed onto the scalp which I like as it makes me feel like something is working. It just gives me so much volume. As I have fine hair I love that this conditioner does not weigh down my hair. The scent is amazing. It has the herbal earthy scent and it makes using this product a luxurious experience. The scent might be too strong for sensitive noses so be cautious of that. If you have issues with strong scents causing headaches etc I would advise you to sample it first before buying because the scent is very strong. I enjoy it though. After washing your hair the scent does not linger in my hair. The conditioner just melts into my hair and rinses off without leaving any residue. The conditioner makes my hair stronger and prone to less breakage. It has some amazing Ayurvedic ingredients like Indian Gooseberry(Amla), turmeric that has proven to nourish your hair for centuries. That being said I have been using this for months along with the shampoo and conditioner and I believe that using all of these products has given me the results I have. My hair actually has never been so healthy, shiny and less prone to hair fall. I have less hair fall in general and less on my brush. My hair is smoother and actually less frizzy too. Overall I’m very very pleased with the results I can see and I’ve actually had several others comment on the health of my hair.
