I’m A Beauty Editor And This Is What I’m Buying In The Adore Beauty Black Friday Sale

adore beauty black friday 2024

The annual Black Friday sales are always exciting, but for Adore Beauty shoppers especially, the event provides some of the best beauty deals of the year.

As a Beauty Editor myself, I spend a considerable amount of time on the platform becoming acquainted with all the newness on offer.

The Australian retailer stocks beauty fare from all over the world, and showcases all the domestic exports made a little closer to home.

Last year, Adore Beauty offered customers six days of deals, with discounts on over 130 brands. Some items were even 40 per cent cheaper during the sales event.

This year, I’m hoping for a similarly impressive turnout — I’ve already organised my Adore Beauty wish list in anticipation…

The Best Adore Beauty Black Friday Deals

Maison Balzac Les Insectes Candle

Usually $79 from Adore Beauty

As much as I love an aquatic or floral candle in summer, nothing transports me to the sunshine-soaked outdoors quite like the smell of an earthy, tomato plant-inspired scent. This candle from Maison Balzac features herbaceous and grounding notes of tomato leaf, earth and moss, and I’m utterly obsessed.

Key features:

  • Notes of tomato leaf, earth and moss
  • Soy and coconut wax blend
  • 100 per cent cotton wick
  • Will burn for approximately 70 hours
  • Hand-poured in Sydney
  • 300g

Clinique Pop™ Lip + Cheek Oil Black Honey

Usually $49 from Adore Beauty

I’ve always been a fan of the ‘your lips but better’ hue of Clinique’s iconic Black Honey, but I’m just not a lipstick kind of a girl. This moisturising lip oil is the perfect alternative and I truly appreciate the two-in-one formula for the days when I don’t have the energy to paint on a full face of makeup.

Key features:

  • Infused with safflower, jojoba, olive, sunflower seed, and castor oils
  • Two-in-one tinted lip and cheek oil
  • Iconic Black Honey shade
  • Soft, tapered applicator
  • Sheer wash of natural, dewy colour

Available at:

Olaplex N.5L Leave in Conditioner

Usually $58 from Adore Beauty

I’ve just recently added this leave in conditioner to my hair styling routine and I’m already plotting my next purchase of the stuff. It’s lightweight so my hair never feels greasy after I’ve applied it, and if I’m in the mood to blow dry or heat style my hair, I like that I don’t have to worry about heat damage with this applied through my strands.

Key features:

  • Protects hair from heat up to 232ºC
  • Seals split ends
  • Reduces breakage
  • Enhances hydration by up to 12 times
  • Softens, smooths and makes hair easier to manage
  • Safe for colour-treated hair

Available at:

L’Occitane Almond Experience Collection

Usually $99 from Adore Beauty

L’Occitane’s almond shower oil is my body cleanser of choice. I have quite dry skin and this is one of the few products I’ve discovered that doesn’t make the situation worse. Plus, the accompanying body lotion and hand cream is luxurious enough that I can’t make any excuses when it comes to moisturising post-shower too.

Key features:

  • 1 x Almond Shower Oil (250ml)
  • 1 x Almond Milk Concentrate (100ml)
  • 1 x Almond Delicious Hands (30ml)
  • 1 x Decorative gift box

Available at:

BIODANCE Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask 4pk

Usually $37.50 from Adore Beauty

I’m not really a big fan of traditional sheet masks, I think they’re a bit wasteful and messy. But I’ve been watching everyone and their mother sleep in these collagen face masks on TikTok, and now I want in. I love that you can wear it overnight without worrying about ruining your pillows, and the promise of plump, bouncy skin doesn’t hurt either.

Key features:

  • Viral TikTok hydrogel sheet mask
  • Can be worn for a few hours or overnight
  • Minimises the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Enhances radiance
  • Promotes a plump, dewy complexion
  • 4 x BIODANCE Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask

Available at:

M.A.C Cosmetics Macstack Chestnut Stack

Usually $57 from Adore Beauty

The older I get, the less I find myself reaching for mascara. Mostly, because it’s such a messy makeup product, but I also find traditional stark black formulas a bit too heavy for every day wear. However, this weightless, brown-hued option is one I’m tempted to test-drive on the days I’m in the office.

Key features:

  • Chestnut brown shade
  • Buildable formula
  • Lengthens and volumises
  • Weightless 24 hour wear
  • Flake and clump resistant

Available at:

Hada Labo Premium Lotion Intense 7x HA Super Deep Hydrator

Usually $48.95 from Adore Beauty

I’m a big fan of the original Hada Labo Lotion, so the prospect of a premium, deeply hydrating alternative really piqued my interest. As far as highly concentrated skin care products go, this pick is extremely fairly priced anyway, but on sale its a bonafide steal.

Key features:

  • Contains seven types of hyaluronic acid and glycerin
  • Plumps and smooths
  • Promotes a supple complexion
  • Deeply hydrating
  • Lightweight texture
