I have the super thin brittle hair that no person ever wanted and so I am forever on the lookout for products that will help it to look full and healthy. I’ve watched all the tiktoks and tried all the fads with very little success, hair oiling, rosemary water, protective hairstyles, you name it. Therefore I now want products that will give my hair softness and shine. This hair mask helps with this incredibly. It has a delicious smell and my hair is beautifully silky after using. If you are looking for a hair mask that works, give this one a try.

I purchased this product in the Rewards Room using my existing points. I've never tried any De Lorenz products before so was keen to give this one a go. This treatment comes in a generously sized tube with a good quality flip-top lid - it sits upside down so I found that it was easy to use all of the product in the tube without much wastage. This treatment had a runnier consistency than I was expecting. It has a fantastic fragrance which I note is listed as "plum" on the container. My only criticism about the fragrance is that it didn't last for long - I would have loved if my hair had smelled that way for the rest of the day. The instructions for this treatment advise to apply to towel dried hair and then rinse after 10m. Unfortunately, this was the biggest downside to the product - I'd much rather use something more convenient that doesn't require me to pause my shower half way through to dry my hair! I have longer, colour-treated hair that is really quite damaged and in need of some maintenance at the moment - I found that my hair sucked this up and that it felt like I needed to apply quite a large amount. My hair felt slightly softer once dry, although there were no significant changes to the texture, shine or manageability of my hair.

I received this hair mask with my Rewards Room purchase earlier this year, but only recently started using it. This mask comes in a slim squeeze tube with a flip cap cover. The important thing when using this mask it to ensure that it is used on toweled dried hair. I have waist long, colour-treated hair and this mask worked well to keep my hair from being frizzy. There is a noticeable difference when I use this mask when washing my hair. It looks nice and healthy and it is much easier to style. Overall, I like this mask very much.

I received a full-sized 200g free sample of De Lorenzo Equilibrium Hair Masque with my recent Beautyheaven Rewards Room purchase. The tube sits upright on its firmly closing cap - I wouldn't expect spillage if travelling. I needed to apply more of the thick white mask to my past waist-length hair than I expected - my hair seemed to drink it up. The cherry blossom scent is pleasant but didn't linger when my hair dried. The instructions say to apply this mask to towel-dried hair for 5-10 minutes, then rinse out. I skipped towel-drying the first time I tried this & only left it in for 5 minutes. My hair air-dried straighter than usual but no more manageable than if I'd used a supermarket conditioner. I like to be water-wise, so for subsequent uses, I shut off the water, towel-dried & scrubbed shower grout for 10 minutes before rinsing out. My hair dried much more manageable, but it's a hassle to stop halfway through my shower. This mask is expensive & I've had similar results from cheaper, less cumbersome masks. Thanks to Beauty Heaven I received a complimentary full size of this in my latest rewards room order. The packaging is gorgeous and it is a generous size. It does have silicone in it which I generally stay away from but there was no way I wasn't trying this! I have fine, curly hair which is prone to being dry and frizzy, so I love masks and use them all the time. I'm not a fan of highly fragranced products so I didn't love that this is pretty strong in that department but it also wasn't the worst. I used it as directed but it really just didn't impress me at all. Maybe because my hair just really doesn't like silicones or maybe it just wasn't deeply moisturising enough for my crispy locks, but it didn't leave it feeling like the other products I use regularly. I'm sure for some kinds of hair this is probably a winner but sadly not for me. (it will go to a good home though) Overall, underwhelming.
