QV Gentle Shampoo

I have fine hair and my scalp is really sensitive. Even though I usually use "normal" shampoos without any issues, I was excited to try QV's shampoo for gentle hair and see if there was any noticeable difference. There was. The gentle shampoo had no scent and looked like a liquid soap but after applying it to wet hair, it started foaming whilst cleaning my hair. It is difficult to describe, but I could actually feel how gentle the shampoo was. After rinsing and before applying conditioner, I could see and feel that my hair was clean but not that horrible squeaky clean where hair is left dry and knotty. My hair was clean, smooth and shiny. It was also easy to comb.

The QV Gentle Shampoo is great for my dry scalp and left my hair feeling clean and soft. I love that it's fragrance free and gentle. It lathers well and rinses off effortlessly. It is a good change from other overpowering shampoos that I have used. My scalp doesn't feel itchy and I feel confident that i am using a healthier shampoo without any nasty ingredients. I will continue using this shampoo as my hair is looking and feeling so much healthier and styles well. Recommend it for the whole family.

This shampoo might be gentle on those with irritated scalps but I was hoping for it to leave my hair looking luscious, shiny and full of health but my hair looked so dull after using this shampoo. I was really disappointed in this shampoo, normally I have been so impressed with all of the QV range but unfortunately this gentle shampoo wasn't the right shampoo for me. I sometimes deal with dandruff so I thought this might be a good shampoo to help me deal with an irritated scalp, it didn't exacerbate my dandruff but it just wasn't the right product for me.

As a family and the main buyer of products for my family members to use, I have always really trusted QV for my baby and for myself. So I was expecting a lot of things about this shampoo. I don’t think there is anything special. It comes in a standard shampoo tube where I can squeeze it out once I have it turned upside down. The shampoo foams up when I mix it with water. It cleans, although in certain parts, I had to shampoo the second time. I don’t feel like it didn’t anything special. It didn’t have any fragrance. The experience was quite ordinary but it was also fine.

This shampoo works really well for people who have dry or sensitive scalp. My child used it and I saw an improvement right after using it the first time. The scalp looked more healthy, nourished, the hair feels soft and looks shiny and healthy. Great for every day use since it cleans without drying the scalp, it is a treat for dry hair and scalp. Another addition in the Qv family. Australian made product, fragrance free which is a bonus. Good value for money Will probably buy this shampoo again.
