I bought the Lip Lingerie XXL Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Peek Show which is a mid-toned berry with great colour payoff. The lipstick initially had a vanilla scent but it eventually changed to a strong chemical scent with a hint of vanilla. The lipstick’s pointed sponge tip applicator was easy to use. When I looked in my makeup mirror, the lipstick accentuated the vertical lip lines on my upper lips. Someone from a distance probably would not notice this. I found it better to apply a lip pencil before applying the lipstick which gave a more precise result and it reduced the accentuated vertical lip lines. NYX claims that this range of lipsticks lasts for up to 16 hours. Peek Show wore away quickly on the inside of my lips after a light snack and/or something to drink. It is possible that other shades have better longevity. The lipstick had a tacky finish if I wore it without drinking or eating. If I had eaten something, the tackiness went away and the vertical lip lines were more noticeable.

One of my favourite liquid lipsticks that ISNT drying! I bought my first Lingerie Liquid lipstick back in 2016 and since then have added shades to my collection. It feels great on your lips upon application, the applicator is a doe-foot which helps the product to glide and apply. Since this product is matte, it really clings to my lips which makes it easy to overline my lips and know the product will stay for hours! It has a pleasant scent, which is a tad sweet and i love that - more of a vanilla fragrance. Perfect product to wear everyday or even on a night out when you're full glam! The size of the tube is generous, this product lasts me ages!! Absolutely love, gotta try it at least once!!

These lipsticks are fairly decent for the price point. I’ve tried a fair few shades and they can be hit or miss- some are really pigmented and wear well and others are patchy and crack. This could be due to a manufacturing issue but I’m not sure. Overall they wear quite well for the price, reapplication is needed when drinking or eating. The colour payoff is really opaque with most colours especially the neutral tones. They can be a little drying if worn for over three hours or so. Would definitely recommend as a cheaper alternative for a liquid lipstick

The outstanding thing about this as soon as I used it for the first time is how soft and luxurious the doe-foot applicator is! It is so soft on the lips and I'm loving that about this product. I purchased it because it's a matte product and it's a neutral colour - it's sort of sexy natural colour is called 'Undressed' and I purchased it from the Rewards Room here on bh. It does not dry out my lips at all and is the most divine matte which is very easy to make my lips appear bigger with. I like to make my lower lip appear a bit bigger than what it naturally is and it's so easy to do that with this product because the formula really sticks well to the skin. Saying that, it is also a longwearing formula and the colour hangs around for a long time. Great for a formal event! Also great for luxe lips looks for everyday! So glad I bought it!! Scent is of a sweet light vanilla which is really pleasant. I love neutral colours and this one is like my lip colour but better. I would re-purchase this again if I end up finishing it one day!
