Line Smoothing Complex S8 Intensive Action Caviar Eye Serum

I received the Dr LeWinn's Line Smoothing Complex S8 Intensive Action Caviar Eye Serum as part of Member Rewards. The serum comes in a clearly labelled box coloured purple, white and silver. The product is contained in a pump-action cylinder with a see-through panel on the side. This enables you to see how much of the serum is in the cylinder. The serum is made up of gold-coloured gel pearls. I used the serum in the morning and in the evening after cleansing my face. I then applied my eyecream. This worked well. I prefer to use an eye serum now as well as an eye cream. The pump action application method made it easy to control the amount of serum that I required. Only a small amount of the eye serum was needed. It spread easily and was absorbed quickly by the skin around my eyes. I applied it on top of my eyelids up to my eyebrows and underneath my eyes as well. I did notice that sometimes a dry gold residue was left on my skin. I have been using the product for about a month now. I felt a firming feeling around my eyes as well as a hydrating feeling, but I can’t say that it has reduced my black circles underneath my eyes or the fine lines as advertised. With use over a longer period may help with the appearance of my black circles and fine lines.

I really liked this product to start with - it comes in a cool- looking bottle with little gold particles. The dispenser is very easy to use and I loved that you could dispense as much or little as you like (I found I didn’t need much so the bottle lasted ages). I thought initially it really made a difference around my eyes, applying in the morning with a Jurlique serum and it went well under makeup. I tried it at night with a L’Oréal serum and it’s like it reacted with it - causing the skin around my eyes to sting. As the bottle nears the end, I’m finding it stings a bit with my Jurlique serum in the day too now, and I’m not noticing it reducing puffiness anymore.

I ordered the Dr LeWinn’s Line Smoothing Complex S8 Intensive Caviar Eye Serum in the November 2021 Rewards Room. I am a regular user of Dr LeWinn’s products so I had high hopes that this eye serum would reduce my dark circles, help keep my eyelids lifted, soften fine lines and give an overall brightness to the eye area. The serum is easy to dispense from the pump action bottle and by pressing very gently on the pump I’m able to limit the amount of product I want to use. The gel serum glides on easily and feels lovely on the skin. It doesn’t feel greasy or sticky nor has it caused any irritation, however I don’t particularly like the tiny gold particles this serum leaves on my skin. I’ve been using this product for a month now morning and evening Maybe I was expecting too much but I just can’t see a big enough improvement around my eyes to consider this to be a five star product for me. Yes, the skin around my eyes seems brighter and the eye serum is firming and hydrating enough but there’s been no improvement whatsoever in regards to my dark circles which is my biggest concern. Perhaps it is early days but the claims are that the product ‘helps diminish signs of dark circles, puffiness and upper eyelid sagging with visible effects in just 7 days*'. I just can’t see it but I’ll continue to use the eye serum in the hope that those pesky dark circles begin to fade.

I received this in the Rewards Room November 2021. I like to have the extra care and nurturing that a serum can provide, especially for the eye area. I like to apply this around my eyes and then put my face serum on too and then spritz with a hydrating spray all over to settle them both into my skin. I put this serum on after cleansing. This is smoothing and easy to apply to the skin. There's no drag at all and one tiny pump does both eyes - all over and around the eyes including up into my eyebrows and lower forehead area - that's where I like to extend this serum to. After spritzing over the top of this I like to then add my eye cream. I like putting the two layers of nurturing products onto my eyes area. I've used an eye cream since my early twenties and now I like to double that up and use a serum just made especially for the eyes as well - and this one is an excellent one. It promised to make eyes appear 'brighter' and I think that it does. I haven't been using it for long - just a couple of weeks - but I'm really excited to keep using it to see extended use results. The packaging is super classy and high quality. It's a cute little eye pump top design and the lid is easily removed but also secure. It has little gold balls revealed through the front section of the label which is clear to show off the formula inside. The formula is a fine gel that is easy to spread and it has the vaguest of scent to it. It sets into the skin within seconds so it's fast to use too.
