Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil

This is a great new product for me. I love the BIODERMA range and I have used many of their products, the Micellar water for years. It comes in a tall slim bottle, with a pump action top. It is extremely effective in removing make up or just the days daily grime. Although it is an oil, it cleans so well and doesn’t leave any oily residue. In fact it makes my skin feel really clean and refreshed. It is very handy for removing sunscreen build up and leaves my skin feeling soothed and free from pollution impurities. I use it every evening as part of my skin care regime. I love the double action Micellar technology and oil combinations. Another plus for me is has virtually no smell. I will continue to use this product, it will last me many, many months.

I recently tried the Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil as part of the best in beauty box, and while it had a few positives, there were some drawbacks as well. I found the size of the product to be quite generous, offering good value for money. The dispenser is convenient and makes it easy to get the right amount each time. On the plus side, the cleansing oil felt gentle on my skin and didn’t leave any irritation, but I didn't get any of the "sensorial cleansing action" It also didn’t perform as well when it came to removing eye makeup. I found myself having to scrub more than I would have liked to remove all traces, and unfortunately, it also stung my eyes a bit. It just didn’t match my usual cleanser.

I received this product as part of being on the BH Trial Team for my honest opinion. The Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil is a great cleaner. It was gentle on the skin, but tough enough to remove all my make up at the end of the day, which included a full face of foundation, eyeliner and mascara. The product turns into a milky texture when rubbed into the skin and washes off easily. After using the Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil it made my face feel, clean and moist, unlike some cleansers that dry out the skin. Would recommend

Bioderma Micellar cleansing oil is perfect to get rid of oil based make up without leaving any residuals. The product pumps up as oil and as you rub the oil between your paml and onto your face, it turns oil in milk like texture. The product is very gentle on the skin and my make up would just glide off without rubbing into my skin. I have to say that I am not too familiar with the micellar technology as being the matured aged group, I was more used to make up wipes and cleasing oil without micellar technology added in. However, I am very satisfied with the Bioderma Micellar cleansing oil and would highly recommend.

I was esctatic when i found out that i was going to trial a Bioderma product as I've found their micellar water to be fantastic. I like it but I don't fully love this product, when compared to the micellar water. First of all, i am not a big fan of the bottle. When pumped, there are more products which come out than it should be. Secondly, according to the official website, Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil has its oil base to provide "frictionless cleansing to effectively remove makeup, pollution and impurities while soothing and strengthening the skin". I found this hard to believe because I struggle with removing waterproof mascara without having to "rub" to get them off. I have to admit though it removes the remainder of make up easily and my skin is left cleansed, soft and soothed without a greasy or oily residue. I love the ingredients: grapeseed and sunflower oil, whcih promote skin barrier health. Skin does feel better after using it. I love that it is fragrance free to preserve the skin's natural ph, which also means it should be ok for sensitive skin. Initially, I was worried as it is oil based that it will clog the pores and creat pimples. So far so good.
