Sensibio H20 Eye Micellar Makeup Remover

I really don't know what to say about this product. I was running low on my regular eye makeup remover so chose this as part of my Rewards Room order. I have used other Bioderma products in the past and have always found them to be very effective, however I felt this product fell short of it's claims. Whilst I understand how the product works, I still found it left an oily residue around my eyes. I did not have any adverse reaction to the product, but I really did not like the oily feeling which remained. It did however remove my non waterproof eye makeup with ease.

This product has to be shaken before use to activate it then poured into a cotton pad or reusable makeup pad. It seems a bit oily at first but it doesn’t leave an oily residue like similar products I have used, and you don’t have to rinse it off either. I have used it on my whole face to remove makeup or just as a cleanser and it feels gentle in my skin and leaves it feeling nice and fresh and clean. I did find that it didn’t remove waterproof eyeliner and mascara as easily as the rest of my make up and I had to scrub reasonably hard to completely remove these products. There is no strong fragrance, which is good. The faint smell is pleasant and smells clean. I would not buy this product again as unfortunately I can’t find anything to prove their stance on animal testing and the brand was not listed on Leaping Bunny website.

I have been wearing makeup alot more frequently lately and have been struggling o find a decent product to remove my eye makeup (non-waterproof mascara ect:) I have used multiple products including specific eye products, micell water, cleanser ect: and am yet to find something particularly effective. I grabbed this product from chemist warehouse when it was half price to try. I have used the micell water and cleanser from Bioderma and found them both effective so thought the eye remover would be similar. The product is like any other eye- makeup its separated in the bottle and mixes together when tipped up, the product has little scent. When used the product glides on however feels quite greasy after use, it did remove my eye makeup after a few swipes however my issue with the product is that anywhere the product touched my skin outside of the eye area (high cheeks/eyebrow area ect:) I broke out. Not just little breakouts like full blown gravel rash looking breakouts that appeared overnight. I usually have pretty clear skin and haven't had more than the odd 1-2 breakouts on my face for years. It was horrific and the only thing i can put them down to is this product, i'm still trying to fix my skin 2 weeks later.. It may have just been a one off reaction but unfortunately i don't think i'll be using again.
