TUBEROSE
Addictively carnal, the heady, elegant and seductive tuberose embodies dramatic, powerful and impressive properties. Whether you adore it or not, spritz this white flower on, and you won’t go undetected.

JASMINE
Light, youthful and intoxicatingly sweet, the narcotic scent of jasmine is pretty powerful for such a tiny flower, with the ability to send your senses into overdrive. The succulent and sensual scent of this perennial in full bloom is a spring sensation – while also boasting some serious mood perks to boot! Spritz this oh so femme fleur on your pulse points for a boost in energy and just the right amount of luscious femininity.
bh recommends: Spring Flower by CREED, Le Labo Jasmin 17, Jo Malone London White Jasmine & Mint Cologne, Atkinsons Jasmine in Tangerine
ROSE
Contrary to popular belief, rose scents can be just as light, bright and fresh as their floral counterparts. Perfect for brides-to-be, romantic long weekends or a special celebration, the undeniable scent of a rose is hard to beat. Wake up and smell the roses with budding blends too delectable to deny.
bh recommends: Chanel N°5 L’EAU, Chloé Roses de Chloé, MOR Rosa Noir Eau De Parfum, Marni Rose EDP
LILY
With white flowers, which are typically more animalic and sensual like tuberose and jasmine at one end of the spectrum, and roses, which are more petal-y, vibrant and crisp at the other, lily falls somewhere in between these two opposing scents. An enigmatic mix of clean, sweet and bright that’ll make you fall head over heels.
bh recommends: Estée Lauder Pleasures, Tom Daxon Crushing Bloom, Penhaligon’s Lily of the Valley, AERIN Mediterranean Honeysuckle
GARDENIA
Did you know that gardenia is one of the hardest scents to get right? The best-smelling gardenia fragrances – and there aren’t many – are like a cold gin and tonic, or a burst of cool air in the middle of summer: they give a jolt, but have a lasting, rewarding coolness. These warmer days require a clear, bold scent to suit – not too heady, but nothing insipid, either. While the scent of the gardenia is strong, it’s no match for the tuberose. The scent is sweeter, breezier and less demanding on the skin.

ORANGE BLOSSOM
Done right, orange blossom is a joyus, energetic scent that evokes a sense of warmth, bounces off the skin and remains as fresh as the first spritz at the end of a full sunshine day. The scent of an orange tree in bloom is a sweet, delicate fragrance that decorates the air with its distinctive aroma, and makes you think of lush, sun-drenched landscapes – which is why it’s in so many hot-weather scents.

Which floral scents will you be spritzing this spring?
I have Chloe perfume, it is lovely, not overpowering. There are a lot of these fragrances I want to try.
Love Alien as best Jasmine scent. Dislike green fresh white flower perfumes. But this one is ambery balsamic and sticky deep. Love.
I have Tom Ford Orchid Soleil EDP, but to me is it pure lily/frangipany scent. So overpowering! Less is more with this
I love gardenias!
