Zooey Deschanel may be excited for the birth of her new bub, but she doesn’t share the same enthusiasm for her pregnancy diet.
In fact, the 35-year-old thinks it’s “a total joke!”
Speaking on behalf of pregnant women everywhere, Zooey ranted to Jimmy Kimmel on his talk show:
“You can’t eat so many things when you’re pregnant. You can’t have sushi. You can’t have cheese that tastes good. You can have a little bit [of coffee]. I would have, like, four cups a day, and now I can have half a cup, which is a total joke. A total joke!”
And coffee’s not the only bevvy the actress is missing. She also really misses vino…
“You can’t have alcohol. I miss that. I like wine.”
We think the restrictive diet definitely classifies as one of the pregnancy problems no one tells you about.
And as if the eating plan wasn’t challenging enough for poor Zooey, the actress is also finding it “more and more difficult” to hide her baby bump.
“We’re still shooting and it’s gotten kind of ridiculous. I’ve been carrying a lot of bags very awkwardly.”
Now that’s something the majority of pregnant ladies don’t have to worry about!
Don’t worry Zoe – it’ll be over soon. We’re sure the new bub will be worth it!
