Coming in hot in the number one position for baby names for girls, for the second year running, is Olivia. But over on the boys list there’s a new number one for the most popular baby names for boys and that’s Harvey. (I wonder if that was inspired by the lead character in hit TV show, Suits?)
One baby name for girls that were a little bit surprised by was Kahlessi. Inspired by one of this year’s most popular TV shows, Game of Thrones, while it doesn’t have a traditional meaning, the character in the show is a super-powerful woman, who reigns in a male dominated world.
Charlotte, Isla, Aurora and Penelope also made the most popular names for girls list again this year. Atticus, Milo and Henry stayed on the most popular names for boys list this year, too.
