Gisele Bundchen is no stranger to controversy – especially since becoming a mother.

The mother of two has irritated more than a few mothers over the last few years, first for boasting that the drug-free labour and birth of her son “didn’t hurt a bit!’ and then for stating in an interview that all women should be required by law to breastfeed for at least six months after giving birth.

Others have pointed out that Bundchen is Brazilian-born and that in her culture it’s perfectly normal to have a little girl’s ears pierced.

Whichever view you side with, it seems that everyone does seem to have a view on this topic.
