Sure, some may have come away from the 2023 Logie Awards talking about the actual award winners, and hey, congrats to them, but for us, it’s all about the beauty buys that graced the faces of Australia’s silver screen stars.

And if there’s anyone we can trust for a golden gong-worthy glam look, it’s one Zoë Foster Blake. She crushed it last year, and she’s crushed it again!

Dressed to the nines in a glitzy ruby red number, and donning sleek slicked-back strands that put her makeup on full display, Foster Blake definitely delivered (as per usual) in the subtle-but-striking beauty stakes.

So what went into Foster Blake’s lush Logies look? beautyheaven caught up with her makeup artist, Heidi Scarlett King, to find out…

Skin prep: Go-To Transformazing Sheet Mask

What’s a makeup look without quality skin prep?! Doomed, that’s what! King made sure to set Foster Blake’s face up for success by starting off with a hydrating, plumping sheet mask able to create the ‘just plain juicy’ finish we all crave. “I prepped with the Go-To sheet mask to create a supple glowy effect,” King noted.

Eyes: NARS Orgasm Collection Orgasm Rising Eyeshadow Palette

The look may have been on the ‘low-key’ side of the glam spectrum, but there was definitely still some soft peachy pizazz on eyes. “We went for a super bare, beige-y look to pair back with the bright tomato dress,” King explained. Said peachy-nude shadow was the work of the “NARS Orgasm eye palette in the light matte peach tones,” King revealed.

Lips: M.A.C Locked Kiss Ink Liquid Lipstick in ‘Teaser’ and M.A.C Lip Pencil in ‘Oak’

The finishing touch? A polished peachy-nude on lips. King prepped and shaped Foster Blake’s pout with a liner before layering a liquid lipstick over the top for longevity and added wow-factor. “On lips [we used] M.A.C’s lip pencil in ‘Oak’ and the new M.A.C Locked Ink Kiss Liquid [Lipstick] in ‘Teaser'”, she shared.

And there you have it: the ultimate neutral-but-not-boring makeup aesthetic. Hallelujah!
