We all know how hard it can be to find the perfect brow shape and brow products. But Benefit Cosmetics has catapaulted us into the future with their new virtual Brow Try-On service. Now, you can test out different brow shades, shapes and styles before you even think of booking a brow appointment.

There’s a few different ways to play with your pretend eyebrows. You have the option to ‘Go Live’ and turn on your webcam, take a photo, or upload a photo to test it out.

From there, you can try different shapes on for size. Once you settle on shape, you can then adjust the placement, definition, shade and arch of the eyebrows (in the same kind of way you’d adjust the filter of an Instagram photo).

Once you’ve played around and found something you like, you can click ‘Get This Brow’. You’ll then be directed to what type of brow look you’ve chosen (straight, natural etc), a link to Benefit’s brow waxing services and the best brow products to use for that look. Plus, you can save or share the image so you’ve got it handy for your next brow appointment.
After trying it out, I have to say that it is so much fun to play with! I could seriously spend all day on there. And the brows do look surprisingly realistic. If you adjust the thickness all the way down or mess around with the placement then you can look a little crazy, but for the most part, they looked natural. And it really did help me see what does and doesn’t suit my face. If you’re going to try it, I’d recommend using a picture instead of the ‘Go Live’ option. That way, the only thing moving is your brows.
