Victoria Beckham and her daughter love this Aussie-made makeup remover

Our ideal beauty pre-purchase checklist includes the following: : Australian-founded, sustainable, affordable, multi-use, gentle and we cannot stress this enough, loved by Victoria Beckham.

Often associated with all things aspirational and less so affordable (she was called Posh Spice after all) it’s not often, however, that a Victoria Beckham can’t-live-without recommendation is something we can pop down to Priceline to purchase. So you can imagine our ears pricked up when one such item was recently mentioned.

Speaking to the Breaking Beauty podcast, the British style icon revealed that Face Halo’s makeup remover pads travel everywhere with her. And it turns out the love extends right down to the rest of the Beckham clan, with daughter Harper and Victoria’s soon-to-be daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz also being avid users.

And why wouldn’t they be? Face Halo’s dual-sided makeup removers are reusable for up to 200 machine washes and replace a staggering number of 500 traditional makeup wipes per pad.

Plus, since their launch in 2017, the brand has already replaced up to one billion single-use makeup wipes from ending up in landfill or the oceans. And a pack of three will only set you back $30. That’s a combined total of 600 machine washes in just one pack. Phew.

With only the addition of water, a Face Halo makeup remover will cut through SPF, stubborn makeup, dirt and grime leaving the skin deeply clean and gently exfoliated.

  1. I have used Face Halo, and I think they are great! But I prefer the pink Manicare microfibre face cloths. I find them much softer and easier to use, and they are heaps cheaper too.

  2. Wow, what a great invention! I don’t wear much make up so I’m fine usually fine washing my skin with a cleanser most nights but these seem like such a great investment for the budget and the environment.

  3. My first thought was, “Is VB’s daughter wearing makeup?! I thought she was still really young!” But I guess when your mother is VB, normal rules do not apply. I wonder if they have their staff wash them though or do they use them like the rest of us use cotton pads?
