I’ve been running late since yesterday. So I was late into bed, then overslept. Next I was late to breakfast, then even later to work. Worse, I’m still behind schedule now, which means I’ll get home with approximately three seconds to get glamorised for a night out with the girls.
So I could panic. Or I could dig out my best in-a-minute miracle-workers and get going! Time me…
* A two-minute shower is just enough time to wash off the day with shower gel and Biore’s shine-slaying, deep cleaning Self Heating Mask.
* I’ll switch regular shampoo for my Klorane Dry Shampoo. That’s another 60 seconds…
* As I’m curling my still-wet-from-the-shower lashes with my left hand, I’ll use my right to work Wella’s leave-in Biotouch Extra Rich Instant Repair through the ends of my hair.
* Next, a dash of Joey New York Professional Line Up to play down pores and lines in mere moments (it’s amazing, really amazing).
* ModelCo’s Fluidsplash 3 in 1 Foundation is a concealer, eye base and foundation in one wondertube. Complexion perfection in seconds…
* I’ve got no time for clumps, so it’s lucky that Lancome’s Fatale Mascara never leaves any – even when applied in a hurry.
* Okay, hair. I’m going to rake you with my fingers and let those layers do their thing. L’Oreal Professionnel’s new soft-hold, max shine Crystal Gloss was made for such an occasion.
* For quick lip and cheek colour, BeneFit’s Benetint is a lifesaver, and a slick of lip gloss over the top gives it a Friday night shine.
* Now just frock up, put shoes on and shove Cargo ColorCards in my bag (oh God, where is my bag!?) so I can weave a little eyeshadow magic in the cab… and I’m out the door.
I count it at 12 minutes. Not bad…
I love getting ready quickly. Thanks for the tips.
Why am I on,y hearing about self-heating masks after 14 years?
Benetint is an oldie but a goodie.
Thanks for the quick tips
Dior have a one minute mask too, the Dreamskin one which is very good
