You know what they say: all good things must come to an end. And that’s exactly what’s happening right now as we present you with the last L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Extraordinaire colour of the week.
But instead of getting all sad and mopey about it, let’s think about all the good times we’ve had and celebrate this week’s shade: #600 Nude Vibrato.Sure, the hue may be simple and subtle, but the pigmented formula and the glossy finish will make your lips look like a million bucks. The combination of micro-oils will ensure that they feel a million bucks, too.
So here are three different (and brilliant, might I add) ways you can wear the barely-there shade:
LOOK #1: AU NATURALE
Think that a nude lip means that you can’t go for a natural make-up look, too? Well you certainly can, you just need to be clever about it. Apply a slightly glossy balm to your lids to give them a dewy finish and use an illuminating pen to add radiance to your skin. Finish off with some False Lash Butterfly Wings Mascara and you’ve got a gorgeous, understated make-up look on your hands.
Tip: The shiny finish of L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Extraordinaire Colour in 600 Nude Vibrato is what keeps your make-up from looking dull, so reapply as needed.
LOOK #2: BALANCE IT OUT
A glossy neutral lip colour is the perfect opportunity to whip out some black eyeshadow and create a sultry, smoky eye. Use some charcoals and silvers too which will keep your eyes from looking too intense. Putting some silver on the inner corners of your eyes is also an excellent way to make your eyes pop.
Tip: make sure you apply the most black at the outer corners of your eyes, as this will a) give your look a more winged effect, and b) make your eyes look bigger.
LOOK #3: A HINT OF COLOUR
The great thing about a nude lip colour is that it goes with just about any eyeliner shade under the sun so don’t be afraid to banish the trusty black liner for a day! Instead of applying your colourful liner to the entire eye, only use it on your bottom water line. If you’d like to give your eyes some extra definition, use a black liquid liner to line your upper lid line from the inner corner to the outer corner.
Tip: if you just want a subtle nude lip, apply a thin layer, but if you’d prefer more coverage, you can build the layers.
