Two different mystery make-up cotton pads. Both were sealed in separate sandwich bags – one had the label ‘Product #1’ and the other had ‘Product #2’. Members did not know what either of the brands were during the trial. Product #1: Swisspers Make-Up Pads. Product #2: A supermarket home brand.

Without knowing that Product #1 pads were Swisspers Make-Up Pads, the majority of members much preferred the quality of them. Many spoke of how soft and gentle the surface of the pads felt, making them ideal for removing make-up or applying toner. They also felt that the stitching on the border of each pad helped keep the cotton inside intact and prevented the pad from fluffing, as they found that Product #2 tended to do.
Members also commented that Product #1 didn’t absorb as much product as Product #2, meaning that they didn’t need to use as many pads to remove eye make-up or nail polish remover.
Overall, 85 per cent of testers said that they preferred Product #1 over Product #2.

When applying a liquid to the cotton pad, it immediately soaks it up and there is no feeling of any liquid dripping out of the pad itself.
