Every Product Used To Create Sonia Kruger Logies Glam

The biggest night in Australian TV has come and gone for another year. Our best and brightest took to the red carpet in their Sunday best – Zoë Foster Blake included. And while we’re all still on a high from Sonia Kruger’s Gold Logie win, it’s her dreamy soft glam that truly stole the show for us.

From her flawless, glowing complexion to the fluttery lashes, we’re obsessed with everything about this look. So we reached out to Sonia’s makeup artist, Simone Forte, to find out how she brought this enchanting look to life.

Sonia Kruger Logies makeup

Skin prep

As every beauty buff knows, a glowing complexion starts with a solid skin care routine. Simone prepped Sonia’s complexion with the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Glycolic Acid Serum ($54 at Sephora) and Dr Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine Oil Free Moisture Cushion ($94 at Catch) to hydrate and plump the skin.

Complexion

Sonia’s base was primed with the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Primer+ Oil Free ($72 at Adore Beauty). To enhance the dewy, glowy base, Simone used the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation ($80 at MECCA).

She then applied a dab of the Huda Beauty Fauxfilter Luminous Matte Liquid Concealer ($44 at Sephora) to perfect and brighten Sonia’s complexion (buh-bye, under eye bags). Sonia’s perfectly sculpted cheeks are courtesy of Charlotte Tilbury’s Beautiful Skin Sun-Kissed Glow Bronzer ($84 at MECCA) with a dab of the Rose Inc. Cream Blush Refillable Cheek & Lip Colour in ‘Heliotrope’ ($48 at MECCA) for a natural, rosy flush.

Eyes

A Gold Logie win calls for bold, dramatic eyes. Sonia’s dreamy eye look was created using the Tom Ford Eye Colour Quad in ‘Hazy Sensuality’ ($166 at Harrods). Simone expertly blended the pigments across the brow bone for a subtle (yet stunning) latte smokey eye.

Simone then went in with the Make Up For Ever Aqua Resist Color Pencil Eyeliner in ‘Ebony’ ($37 at Sephora) to enhance the smokey eye look. As for the lashes? Those were a custom-made set using Lilly Lashes to bring the drama. It turns out MUAs love the M.A.CStack Mascara ($54 at Myer) as much as our members do! Simone levelled-up the length and volume with a coat of the mascara on Sonia’s top lashes.

And how could we forget those ultra-lush, fluffy brows?! Those are the work of the Kosas Brow Pop Dual-Action Defining Pencil ($38 at MECCA) – and Sonia’s naturally luscious arches of course.

Lips

No glam moment is complete with a glossed-up pout. Sonia’s lips were lined using the Natasha Denona I Need A Rose Lip Crayon in ‘Calla’ ($36 at Sephora) and treated to a coat of Natasha Denona I Need A Rose Lipgloss ($43 at Sephora).
