Sonia Kruger Shares Her Best Beauty Secrets

Sonia Kruger (AKA the Aussie glowing goddess) has done it again. Yep, she’s earnt our seal of approval of fave celeb (sorry everyone else) because she loves to share her beauty tips with us.

From her glow-getting skin care tool, to the skin care brand she swears by and of course all the tanning tips (thanks to her latest collab), we’ll be here to bring you all of Sonia’s beauty secrets. Including the seriously incredible budget beauty buy that you’ve probably already got floating around your bag.

Do you have any beauty secrets you can let us in on?

Understandably, Sonia’s latest secret is her brand new Radiant Complexion Serum ($80 at Oz Hair and Beauty). If we’d just released a beauty product, we’d be pretty proud to show it off too. But she really does give it high praise indeed. After applying it at night Sonia feels like she “wakes up with an effortless glow as if (she’s) had 8 hours of sleep, litres of water and a vacation.” Sign us RIGHT up!

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve done for the sake of beauty?

Remember when Bee Venom facials were all the rage? Yep, Sonia had one! She actually found it to be “actually really good”. Who would’ve thought?!

Are there any seriously expensive products (or treatments) that you can’t go past?

While Sonia might be on our screens all the time (do you have any down time Sonia?), she does try and make time for treatments “even if it’s once a year, [she] tries to fit it in as a special one off”. Her go to treatment choices? She “love(s) laser and light treatments”, finding them really effective.

Do you have a budget beauty buy that you love?

In a surprising twist, Sonia actually loves Carmex Lip Balm ($6.19 at Priceline). Turns out it’s a “must-have for everyday use”. You heard the lady, it’s time to pucker up.

Are there any industry secrets (or tips) you’ve picked up from your time in the makeup chair?

Sonia is fortunate enough to work with the talented Simone Forte to craft her beauty looks. Having a makeup artist you can trust is a major part of the job. And Sonia feels that no matter if they’re “shooting a television show or an editorial publicity piece she always nails the brief”. Her key tip from Simone? “Allowing yourself enough time is the secret ingredient when it comes to makeup”. That’s one we can always get behind.
