Powder blush
Powder blush will leave you with a more prominent, finished look and acts as a great tool for sculpting cheekbones. It’s a great option for those with oily skin as it absorbs grease to give off a matte finish
Cream blush
Dab on the apples of your cheeks and blend upwards to your cheekbones for a foolproof and flirty flush. Cream blush imparts a sheer finish and is easy to blend making it perfect for creating a dew look
Cheek tint
Most cheek tints act as a double agent, as you can apply them to your lips. Once it’s set it wont budge, providing a long-lasting, luminous look – but it also means you will need to blend quickly in order to avoid streaking.
THE BEST BLUSHES TO TRY
#1 Benefit Benetint
We say: This little pot of rosiness has become something of an iconic product. Just a few drops gives you an enviable, buildable flush.”
You say: “This is now my go-to blush. No other product seems to give that “flushed” look with the subtleness that this does. I’m hooked! The colour is the perfect red-glow, you can make it as subtle or as bold as you like, and it just looks so rosy and lovely on the skin.” – Blossy77
#2 The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Stain
We say: This dual-purpose product is a must-have for your clutch when you want to add colour to your pout and cheeks when you’re on the go.
You say: “This lip and cheek stain is very luxurious. It’s a medium-gel like consistency that is packaged like a lip gloss with a wand applicator. A little goes a long, long way and therefore this product lasts a good while! It has great staying power and delivers a really natural flush of colour. No shimmer, just beautiful soft colour.” – Saltine
#3 Bourjois Little Round Blush Pot
We say: A versatile little pot of soft blush that comes in so many gorgeous colours and can be used for contouring, sculpting or adding an English rose flush to your complexion.
You say: “Very highly pigmented, so you only need to use a very small amount. The little pot seems to last forever, and I just adore the scent.” – Rose_P
#4 NARS Blush
($48, MECCA)
We say: As far as iconic blushes go, NARS ‘Orgasm’ is up there. The coral-pink powder suits most skin tones, with a luminescent finish that gives just the right level of glow.
#5 STILA Convertible Colour
($40, MECCA)
We say: If glass skin is your goal, this buttery cream formula is the one. It provides a pretty sheen that can be used on cheeks and lips, in six skin-flattering shades.
#6 Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Cream Blush
We say: A lovely luxurious cream blush that glides on easily and offers a dewy finish with radiant, buildable coverage.
You say: “Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Cream Blush is honestly one of the best cream blushes I’ve ever used. The texture is perfect. It really glides on effortlessly, without pulling or dragging on my skin. It’s pigmented enough to wake up my face, but not so saturated with colour that it makes me look like I’m wearing clown make-up.” – Glitterbabe_15
#7 Clinique Cheek Pop
We say: Pretty in the pan, and even prettier on. The satin finish has a slight shimmer to it, and each shade packs a punch.
You say: “The formula is like nothing have come across before. It’s a powder, but is quite solid and appears almost cream like. When you apply it to the cheek, it goes on very smoothly and blends nicely.” – angie_robyn

The Benefit benetint is stunning
Yay they sound so good!
I have been wanting to try it out
Its always either too pink or orange for me
I’ve reported the spam by Oliviahannah on the “SERIAL SPAM MEMBER ON BH” thread.
I gotta give it a try then. Thanks for the suggestion isabella
One of my favourites is the milani baked blush – I’m new into cream blushes and yet to find my favourite
I like Benetint – it’s so natural looking!
Good onya, Petal! She’s a serial offender – I always mark as SPAM too, whenever you point it out. I guess that with Bh staff working from home, it’s taking a while to remove all the spam.
I reported the comment too! The spam is out of control at the moment, so annoying.
I want to try all of these blushes. They all look so amazing.
Thanks for reporting the spam. I contacted BH about the increased volume of spell-casting spam but I haven’t received a reply from them yet.
NARS & clinique look so good
Some things are awesome and are always in my make up bags but other’s i’m not a fan of. – eg their lipglosses are sticky.
Aw you should try their stuff. Natural, australian and like i said prices are actually decent.
I prefer a cream or a tint as they are quick and easy to blend and looks more natural
The nars blush is to die for!
I just tried out my first cheek paint and loved it!
I’ve never used a cheek stain.
I would love to try the benetint!
The Bourjois blush is really nice!
