She may be the fiercest and most successful female athlete in the world (and mum to an (almost) one year old girl), but that only means her go-to beauty products have to be seriously hard-working to go the distance. So when Into the Gloss spoke to Williams about her day-to-day beauty routine, as well as the products she swears by, we took note.

“So I do cleanser, toner, moisturizer and eye cream. Right now I’m wearing SPF 50 from Chenot – I want to look young! I never leave home without it, or a hat,” explains Serena. Not surprising considering how important sun protection is, combined with how much time she would spend outside.

Interestingly, Serena reveals that she doesn’t wear foundation. “I just use concealer and blend it, which keeps it kind of natural but still fabulous,” she explains, crediting the Nars Creamy Concealer as her go-to product. She then shared that while she often works with makeup artists and hair stylists, she does love to do her own red carpet looks from time to time. The makeup products she uses on a daily basis, however include “the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer, and Anastasia Lips also. Then there are Huda [Beauty Liquid Matte Lipsticks] – I love those. I use Bobbi Brown Instant Full Cover Concealer over my Nars to blend it, then I use a MAC Contour.”

“I’m such a beauty junkie – it’s pathetic, actually,” Serena confessed. “Honestly, I love going to Sephora – I could spend hours in there. I think every girl can, though.”
