There’s nothing more confidence-boosting than a swipe of your favourite lippy to brighten up your look (and your day). And with International Lipstick Day on Monday 29th July fast approaching, it’s always a bonus when splurging on your go-to shade also doubles as a donation for good.
This year, Revlon and Chemist Warehouse are partnering with cancer charity Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) to help raise funds for an important cause.
What is happening this International Lipstick Day?
From 11th July until 7th August, $2 from every Super Lustrous Lipstick sold at Chemist Warehouse will be donated to LGFB. Allowing thousands of women around Australia to participate in the program’s workshops free of cost.
Revlon has been donating products to LGFB for over 20 years, raising tens of thousands of dollars in that time. Poignantly, Revlon ambassador (and cancer survivor) Delta Goodrem helms this impactful campaign.
Look Good Feel Better Initiative
If you’re not familiar with their work, LGFB has been around since 1990 and helped support over 170,000 women, men and teens. The program is tailored to help cancer patients learn strategies to manage the physical, mental and social impacts of cancer treatments.
The workshops and guides range from choosing the right headwear (read: the best headscarf recommendations and expert wig tips) to skin care tips and makeup tutorials. Such as how to draw on eyebrows and choosing the right shade of lipstick to complement and brighten your complexion.
Makeup may seem like a trivial pursuit. But for many undergoing cancer treatment and experiencing the side-effects, it proves an empowering, confidence-boosting and just plain fun outlet.

I like Revlon Super Lustrous. This is a great initiative & a good time to buy.
A love a new hippie. It’s a shame that I can only participate by buying from Chemist Warehouse. I don’t have one near me for over 100km and now that they charge a delivery fee I have stopped doing business with their online ordering.
A good product for a good cause, good on them
