Whether it be a chalky pastel pink, or a show-stopping fuchsia, there’s just something about the femininity and playfulness of the pink lip that just won’t quit.
The thing I love most is that a pink lip can dress up an outfit and inject some life into your look without looking over the top, or like you’ve tried too hard. It’s like an instant femininity shot that takes you to savagely sexy – with a pinch of pretty.
I also think guys are a little more at ease with the seemingly younger, more fun-loving cousin of the red lip. For a start, it doesn’t leave as much of a telltale mark on a boy after a bit of a smooch – and isn’t that reason enough?
