What a whirlwind Paris Fashion Week has been! Kim Kardashian debuted her platinum blonde hair, Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson strutted their stuff as their Zoolander characters and Lady Gaga rocked new, fiery-red locks. All the celebrity madness aside, there were some seriously stunning beauty looks that caught our attention. While many of the shows went for OTT beauty, these three looks are totally wearable – and best of all, can be easily recreated at home. Here’s how…
LOOK #1 Peach perfection
Step 1. Pat some matte, peach eyeshadow over your entire eyelid. We usedL’Oreal Paris Color Riche Mono Eyeshadow in Matte 07.
Step 2. Layer the outer corners of each eyelid with a slightly pinker peach eyeshadow and blend. Then, using the same colour, subtly line underneath the eye. We used Arbonne Eye Shadow in Petal.
Step 3. Sweep a peach blush across the apples of your cheeks towards your ears. We used Essence Silky Touch Blush in Autumn Peach.
Step 4. Lastly, pop on a peach-coloured lippy or lip stain. We used Revlon Ultra HD™ Lipstick in Hibiscus.
LOOK #2 Subtle eyeliner flick
Step 1. Use sticky tape to create a barrier for your flicks. This will make sure the line is clean and even on both eyes, as well as prevent any smudging.
Step 2. Using an angled brush and gel eyeliner (we’ve used the Rimmel London Scandal’Eyes Waterproof Gel Eyeliner), create your flick on the outer edge of your eye, starting from the outside and working your way in. Begin with a thin line, increasing the thickness as you get closer to the eyelid. Repeat on both sides.
Step 3. Line the rest of your eyelid, starting a few millimetres away from the inner corner of your eye and working your way towards the flick. Once you’ve reached the flick, go over the joint so it looks smooth and natural.
Step 4. Remove the sticky tape and you’re done!
LOOK #3 Slick side pony
Step 1. Part your hair to the side with a comb. Straighten in that direction, combing as you go to make your hair as smooth as possible.
Step 2. Tie your hair in a low ponytail on the same side as most of the hair.
Step 3. Separate some hair from the ponytail and wrap it around the hair tie. Secure with bobby pins.
Step 4. Finish with a quick smooth-over and spritz of VO5 Smoothly Does it Tame & Shine Spray.
