She even makes her own perfume oil

Pamela Anderson was one of the most influential beauty icons of the ‘90s.

An undeniable sex symbol, the Baywatch star’s image became synonymous with a covetable California lifestyle.

But in reality, Pam’s a small town girl from British Columbia Canada and a self-professed hippie.

The blonde bombshell recently shared the contents of her handbag with British Vogue’s In The Bag. Inside was a treasure trove of crystals, an ornate fan (for the 55 year old’s hot flashes), a stray eyelash, a G-string she uses as a scrunchie in emergencies, and a host of clean and sustainable beauty and wellness products.

Here are Pamela’s handbag essentials…

ILIA makeup

“I love ILIA,” Pamela gushed. “ILIA is really beautiful.”

She rates the ILIA [True Skin Serum Concealer] ($50 at MECCA) — “it’s good.”

But she wishes she knew about the ILIA DayLite Highlighting Powder ($57 at MECCA) sooner.

“We didn’t know about this in the ‘90s, but this is so good,” she raved.

Kindred Black Lip & Cheek Flush

Next up? “Kindred Black [Night Venom Lip & Cheek Flush] ($65 at Kindred Black),” she stated. “These little bottles [are made from] blown glass — love it.”

“This is just a little cheek stuff that you can just put on,” she explained as she mimicked dabbing it onto her cheeks with her fingers.

A DIY fragrance

“This is one of my favourite things — this is my scent,” Pam explained as she showed off a small glass vial with a pink heart painted on its side.

“This is what I’ve created; It’s a love potion and it’s got ylang ylang in it,” she continued. “It has roses pressed from my garden and this stuff is amazing.”

Dr Hauschka’s Lip Balm

Like the rest of us, when Pam finds a lip balm she loves, she loves it to death. Her pot of Dr Hauschka Lip Balm ($28 at Dr Hauschka)? “Very used, almost empty.”

Glitter

“Alexis Vogel, my dearest friend we lost to breast cancer who really was one of my heroes and helped me really come up with this whole fun look,” she said as she waved to her iconic eye makeup and hair.

“She would be so proud that everybody really was kind of taking it on and having fun with makeup,” she went on to say. “This is her little pot of glitter. I always carry it with me.”

Rescue Remedy

“Inside my Altoids box is [Rescue Remedy Original Pastilles] ($12.99 at Chemist Warehouse) too,” she confessed, as she opened up the box of breath mints. “It’s just a natural remedy for if you’re feeling stressed.”

    • Rescue remedy has been around for years, usually in drop form. It is well known to help people cope. Won’t work for everyone, but worth a try, depends on what is causing your issues. I used it many years ago, they also make a ‘calm and focus’ one which I have tried and my son thinks it helps him study.

  1. I like she is into fun products. The “sustainable” title is fake and propaganda tool. Her bag is also under the claim of being “sustainable” , I would not buy plastic ones though. Will never understand this trend. Sustainable for the company? To earn a lot selling plastic bags for the price of natural material ones (designer bag prices that is)? Is it “sustainable” for the environment? No. False claims and propaganda.

  2. Pamela Anderson is amazing Woman it’s so wonderful that she has some quite affordable products that she keeps in her handbag. It would be much better just to keep a scrunchie than use a G-string.
