She even makes her own perfume oil
Pamela Anderson was one of the most influential beauty icons of the ‘90s.
An undeniable sex symbol, the Baywatch star’s image became synonymous with a covetable California lifestyle.
But in reality, Pam’s a small town girl from British Columbia Canada and a self-professed hippie.
The blonde bombshell recently shared the contents of her handbag with British Vogue’s In The Bag. Inside was a treasure trove of crystals, an ornate fan (for the 55 year old’s hot flashes), a stray eyelash, a G-string she uses as a scrunchie in emergencies, and a host of clean and sustainable beauty and wellness products.
Here are Pamela’s handbag essentials…
ILIA makeup
“I love ILIA,” Pamela gushed. “ILIA is really beautiful.”
She rates the ILIA [True Skin Serum Concealer] ($50 at MECCA) — “it’s good.”
But she wishes she knew about the ILIA DayLite Highlighting Powder ($57 at MECCA) sooner.
“We didn’t know about this in the ‘90s, but this is so good,” she raved.
Kindred Black Lip & Cheek Flush
Next up? “Kindred Black [Night Venom Lip & Cheek Flush] ($65 at Kindred Black),” she stated. “These little bottles [are made from] blown glass — love it.”
“This is just a little cheek stuff that you can just put on,” she explained as she mimicked dabbing it onto her cheeks with her fingers.
A DIY fragrance
“This is one of my favourite things — this is my scent,” Pam explained as she showed off a small glass vial with a pink heart painted on its side.
“This is what I’ve created; It’s a love potion and it’s got ylang ylang in it,” she continued. “It has roses pressed from my garden and this stuff is amazing.”
Dr Hauschka’s Lip Balm
Like the rest of us, when Pam finds a lip balm she loves, she loves it to death. Her pot of Dr Hauschka Lip Balm ($28 at Dr Hauschka)? “Very used, almost empty.”
Glitter
“Alexis Vogel, my dearest friend we lost to breast cancer who really was one of my heroes and helped me really come up with this whole fun look,” she said as she waved to her iconic eye makeup and hair.
“She would be so proud that everybody really was kind of taking it on and having fun with makeup,” she went on to say. “This is her little pot of glitter. I always carry it with me.”
Rescue Remedy
“Inside my Altoids box is [Rescue Remedy Original Pastilles] ($12.99 at Chemist Warehouse) too,” she confessed, as she opened up the box of breath mints. “It’s just a natural remedy for if you’re feeling stressed.”

Have you tried any of Pamela’s handbag essentials? Let us know in the comments.
Strange that she likes natural and clean items when she has a lot of silicone, fillers, botox, etc.
Haha! Yes!
Yes, the irony of that has not escaped me.
Same -cannot work that one out
True!
I didn’t realise she had done that as she looks so natural
I thought the same thing, and it is not doing her any justice, looks older than other 55 year old celebs.
Yes! I have a sister who used masses of chemicals to bleach her roots but is a stickler for only religeously eating organic foods! Say what?! True
I’m not sure that she went down that road ?
I hadnt thought of this till now. Maybe shes into natural products now shes older.
She has a great selection of products in her bag.
I’m interested in the soothing drops! I wonder if they work
Rescue remedy has been around for years, usually in drop form. It is well known to help people cope. Won’t work for everyone, but worth a try, depends on what is causing your issues. I used it many years ago, they also make a ‘calm and focus’ one which I have tried and my son thinks it helps him study.
I’ve been curious about this brand for a while – thanks for the insight
I like she is into fun products. The “sustainable” title is fake and propaganda tool. Her bag is also under the claim of being “sustainable” , I would not buy plastic ones though. Will never understand this trend. Sustainable for the company? To earn a lot selling plastic bags for the price of natural material ones (designer bag prices that is)? Is it “sustainable” for the environment? No. False claims and propaganda.
That’s true.
Exactly, so much false ‘sustainable” labels lately.
Exactly. Maybe she just likes these products.
I’ve heard her documentary is really good, must watch it this weekend
I want to see it now too! Love her without her makeup in the other bh article – much prettier
Decided not to watch the YT video, don’t want YT thinking I’m a fan and pammy vids popping up in the suggestion stream.
Sure go ahead and mod my comment, so much cancel stuff going on nowadays!
What a funny mix but interesting
I love that she makes her own perfume -I love making natural products so would love the ingredients
I liked that too, and some things from her garden, nice.
Fancy making her own perfume. It sounds strange that someone who can most likely afford whatevery she want, still makes her own perfume.
I like that she’s finally discovered sunscreen & now carries it with her.
The Bach flower pastilles sound interesting.
I checked the CW website & the Bach pastilles come in original elderflower, blackcurrant & cranberry flavours. I might try the elderflower one.
An interesting mix of things, I haven’t tried and a fun video which I enjoyed watching.
I have’nt tried a single one , I have’nt heard or read anything about Pamela for ages.
Nice one Pamela.
Did she use a g-string as a scrunchie?
I couldn’t be bothered carrying all that around in a handbag.
I would hate my handbag to be checked out -it has everything in it .
I haven’t tried any of Pamela’s handbag essentials.
My daughter vouches for Rescue Remedy but has the drops
Love the perfume idea!
Nope haven’t tried any of Pamela’s essentials.
I have seen those pastilles before but did know of anyone who used them. Interesting. Elderflower version sounds nice. Might check it out.
Love the confidence of carrying a G-string with you in your bag – using it as a scrunchie in a tough spot is actually genius.
Pamela Anderson is amazing Woman it’s so wonderful that she has some quite affordable products that she keeps in her handbag. It would be much better just to keep a scrunchie than use a G-string.
Why do celebrities feel the need to reveal what is in their handbags?
Why not just carry a scrunchie?
The Ilia products look gorgeous.
The DIY scent sounds intriguing
I read only this week she says she wants to see what ageing gracefully is like??? Umm
I haven’t tried any of these products, but I would like to give the lip balm a try. I always have lip balm in my bag
Her vogue video was so delightful! A lovely soul.
Is it just me or is using a g string as a scrunchy a bit eww
I haven’t tried any. But great mix of products.
She has a great selection of products in her bag. Such a nice collection. I loved it.
UPSers
They’re mostly a bit out of my price range. Glitter sounds like fun, though.
Some good products there
lol she’s funny! So Americano – love the undies in the hair – and yep I have definitely used that trick in the past if I found myself without a scrunchie. it works!!
Wow, she uses a G-string as a scrunchie in emergencies, I would like to view this?
She does have good taste in cosmetics! 🙂
