New Year’s Eve make-up: winged liner

A CLASSIC FLICK

A bold flick of liner will give your make-up that hint of glamour every New Year’s Eve look should have.

If you’re a bit of a novice when it comes to winged liner, try this: instead of starting on your lid and flicking up, start at the outer corner of your eye and do your flick first. Once you’ve got that sorted, line your lash line using a flexible liquid liner (we love L’Oréal Paris SuperLiner So Couturefor how easily it moves), gradually thickening the line as you move from the inner to outer corner of your eye.

You can also follow Sarah Hyland’s lead and add a touch of sparkling white or silver shadow. Mineralogie Mineral Eye Shadow in Sparkle will do the trick.
