Multi-tasking mascara

Multi-tasking mascara

As you know, I get a lot of products in this gig – so as you can imagine, space is a major issue for me. (Glosses and bronzers and eyeliners may seem small on their own, but multiply each by 10 and add them to a whole range of body, hair and skin care products and you have a near avalanche of cosmetics in your cupboard!)

Which is why I’m a big fan of multi-tasking or two-in-one products. Not only do they give you more bang for your beauty bucks, but they also take up less space on your bathroom shelf.

At the moment, one of my fave double-duty beauty buys is without a doubt the new Revlon CustomEyes Mascara. I usually have two or three mascaras on the go, depending on what type of lash finish I want, but to be honest, it gets kind of annoying having to carry them all around just in case I’m in the mood for a specific look.

Revlon CustomEyes Mascara is super nifty as it’s designed with adjustable bristles, so you can choose whether you want beautifully defined lashes, or a thick and luscious flutter – all with a quick twist of your fingertips!

So how exactly does it work? Well, there’s a little dial on the end of the lid, with the numbers ‘1’ and ‘2’. If you want long, defined lashes, you simply leave the dial as is on number ‘1’, but if you’d prefer a fuller flutter, you just twist the dial to number ‘2’ and – hey presto – extra bristles magically appear to add extra volume and length. How easy is that?

The mascara itself is also formulated with flexible film technology, as well as natural vegetable waxes to ensure that your mascara lasts all day, without flaking, smearing or clumping. So really, it’s almost a no-brainer as to why this is my fave mascara of the moment!

What do you think of mascaras that let you choose your lash finish?

How many mascaras do you usually have on the go at one time?
