A monolid doesn’t have a visible crease line between the eye and the brow area. Often this means a very thick line of eyeliner is needed to get visible wing. But ‘floating liner’ is the eyeliner hack all ladies with monolids should try. One blogger (@workingwithmonolids) has posted her killer winged eyeliner on imgur and explained how she did it. She draws her liner far back from the lash line as if it is floating above it. This way she saves on a LOT of liner.

Not only has she mastered her floating liner, she’s also got a hack for the perfect cat eye. To save on her liner, she only creates the part of the wing that will be seen when her eyes are open.
