Having been a model since the age of 13, Miranda Kerr was bound to pick up some excellent makeup tips throughout her career.
Off the runway, the 37-year-old typically favours a natural makeup look, and has explained that “for me the basis of great makeup is actually great skin care.”
So it comes as no surprise that before getting to foundation, the KORA Organics founder prepped her skin thoroughly, as seen in a ‘date night how-to’ video for Vogue Paris.

Miranda began her routine with a spritz of rose mist, followed by vitamin C serum and then the brand’s hero product, Noni Glow Facial Oil ($83, Kora Organics); taking care to press the products into her skin rather than rub. The model is also a big fan of gua shas, frequently pulling out the crystal tool to massage her face products in and boost circulation.
As the mum-of-three started on her makeup, she explained that she’s had ‘pigmentation issues’, ever since her first pregnancy. “And I have three children now; a six-month-old, a two-year-old and a nine-year-old.”
To even out her complexion, Miranda used the RMS Un-Cover Up Cream Foundation ($83, Mecca), applied with a stippling brush, the former of which she said has a ‘beautiful texture’.
After concealing areas that need a little more coverage, Miranda admitted, “I’m quite big on blush.”
“For those of you who know me, you might think I overdo my blush, but I really like that look. Like I’ve just, you know, been for a run or gotten a little excited.”
Applying one from La Prairie, Miranda dabbed her blush onto the apples of her cheeks before sweeping it across the eyes, too. She followed this with a pink shimmer shadow, applied with the fingers atop the eyelids.
“Because I’m doing a red lip I’m keeping the eye makeup simple with just that touch of pink,” she said.

Before adding mascara, Miranda revealed another trick in that if you’re ever caught without a curler, you can use a spoon to give your lashes a little shape and lift.
To finish her look, Miranda dried off her slightly damp hair with a hairdryer, and then added a spritz of Klorane Dry Shampoo. Despite her hair being freshly washed, the model said she uses it to add volume.
No judgement here Miranda, we’d marry dry shampoo if we could.
Have you tried any of the products Miranda used?
I love that she is providing a vegan cruelty range
Kora products are way out of my price range but I would love to give them a try.
Lovely. Would like to know what red lipstick she wears.
She’s gorgeous and her skin looks healthy and glowy. Haven’t tried any KORA products yet.
She always looks lovely.
Love the pink eye red lip combo! So refreshing and gorg
Didn’t use any of the products mentioned. Blush can not even use. Or oils atm.
She has three kids? I thought she only had two! where did the other one come from lol.
Not a fan of Kora but she has lovely skin!
It looked like a Charlotte Tilbury one judging by the bullet Frenchy1, but she didn’t say the shade name this time! x
Loving the blush and sweeping eyeshadow tip!! : D
The pink and red combo actually doesn’t look too bad
She always looks gorgeous, but I wasn’t impressed with her products
I’ve used the dry shampoo before, she always looks good.
Klorane Dry Shampoo is such a lifesaver at times! I haven’t used any of the other products on her list.
Thanks Sam. Charlotte Tilbury has so many lovely reds.
She didn’t mention her own range once!
yes i use dry shampoo in the morning as a volume booster before i put my rollers in
I haven’t used any of the mentioned makeup products, nor have I tried any KORA skincare products.
Wow she definately has a stunning skin but outside my price range for the Kora range unfortunately.
Miranda Kerr always has glowing skin she is very beautiful and KORA Skincare products really do work for her. Quite an Entrepreneur!
She was certainly blessed with good genes. I haven’t tried any of these products.
I’m sure I tried a Kora lip balm once and didn’t like it but I can’t find it in my reviews! Nice that a supermodel doesn’t have a 50-step skincare routine!
Haven’t tried any La Prairie yet!
I love Klorane & a bold lip, too! I also sometimes sweep a little blush across the eyes, but I don’t slather it on my cheeks as heavily as she does.
I’ve never thought to use a facial oil before applying makeup. I only use it at night because I would have thought that it wouldn’t mix with foundation.
What a gorgeous result she always looks amazing so it obviously works perfectly for her.
Klorane dry shampoo is the best!
I love blush too but don’t use it as much for fear of judgement.
Have not tried any of the KORA range but I have heard good things about RMS.
If one looked like Miranda, one would not have to worry too much about what make up one used. I would think. You would like lovely whatever
I have tried Klorane dry shampoo and the other products sound lovely too.
I haven’t tried the Noni Glow Facial Oil yet
Same here. I always feel like I have on too much blush.
She always looks gorgeous.
Her skin certainly glows that’s for sure!
Miranda is so gorgeous!
Noni Glow Facial Oil is one my of my favourite facial oils. I am a complete convert. I have also used a lot of Kora Organics and one of the first skincare brands I ever used when first taking skincare seriously. Still go back to some of the range but the products which feature Noni extract are phenomenal.
I am also a big fan and user of RMS Beauty products and the RMS tub of foundation is another one of my favourites.
La Prairie is otherwise a miss for me. I used to use it and found most of the products contained a high alcohol content.
I have never tried her skincare but it does look nice. Yesterday i mixed 2 drops of oil into my primer and i love it
Miranda is so beautiful!
Miranda always has lovely skin. Haven’t heard of KORA beauty products. Have used Klorane dry shampoo and loved the smell.
She does a good skin!
Some great tips here!
I thought that was interesting…
She is very beautiful.
Great tips to follow. But i never tried any of these products.
I sometimes use a facial oil before foundation but I wait a bit longer for it to absorb. Oil under foundation can reduce the cake-face look. Some foundations do not last as long when I apply them over oil, but this might be because my skin is dry.
I’ve tried some of Miranda’s products and they are lovely. Un-Cover Up Cream Foundation has been on my wish list for a while.
A rose mist spritz sounds lovely
Love the bold lipstick with the soft eye makeup. Will have to try this.
Thanks for the application tip. I too have dry skin so I am going to try this myself.
I’d like to be able to use a dry shampoo but they irritate my scalp
