You can bet if there’s anything to be learned about Megan Markle’s beauty routine, we’ll find it. And it turns out the Duchess of Sussex is partial to the help of a lash serum when it comes to nailing the natural makeup look she’s come to be known for.
In the same interview where she shared details of her skin care routine, Megan revealed to Allure her fluttery lash hack. “I use Revitalash on my eyelashes, and I swear they are as long as they could ever be,” she said.
The good news? The Revitalash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner is easy to get your hands on in Australia. It’s available for $79 (6 week supply) at beautybliss.com.au.
Megan isn’t the only fan, either. The award-winning lash serum reportedly sells every 30 seconds, which puts it in the company of some of the world’s best-selling beauty products.
So what makes it so good?
Megan Markle’s lash serum may not be the most affordable product by a long stretch, but plenty of users praise it for helping lash growth, which for many makes it worth the price.
Biotin (vitamin B7) is the key ingredient. It’s known to stimulate keratin production in the hair to help increase the rate of growth. It forms part of a complex alongside lipids and green tea extract to also condition and strengthen the lashes for less breakage.
Further B vitamins, peptides, amino acids and fatty acids are also listed as helping to protect, revitalise and add shine.
How to use Megan Markle’s lash serum
We’re not going to sugarcoat it, this product demands commitment with daily use for the best results.
First, you’ll need to ensure there is no other product or residue on your lashes. For this reason, we highly recommend using it at night once you’ve completed a thorough cleanse.
The brand then instructs to apply a “thin line” directly to the lashes above the lash line. The hardest part is simply remembering to do it!
Revitalash reviews
After more than a royal seal of approval? The product scores a 4.8/5 star rating from the reviews on the stockist website. Here’s a snippet of what some users had to say:
“I can’t believe how quickly I have seen results. I was really skeptical but I have only been using it for about 10 days and already I have so much more length!” – Holly via beautybliss.com.au
“It took me about 4 weeks to actually notice a difference, the lashes look longer and appear more resistant to breakage (when taking off mascara). It actually works and leaves the lashes very very beautiful.” – blackandredcrayons via beautybliss.com.au
“After about three weeks of use, I can notice extra length which was really what I was after. I noticed a little redness in the eyes in the mornings, and a little prickliness initially, but it eases quickly and the effect is worth the minor discomfort. Just don’t get too heavy-handed and you’ll be fine.” – Lesley via beautybliss.com.au

Have you tried Megan Markle’s lash serum? Or is there another eyelash serum you’d recommend?
I’ve heard great things about this, I just can’t be bothered to add an extra step to my beauty routine.
cost would put it on hold for me
Agree!
I must admit that beauty takes awhile everyday. Slip and you have had it. One can go overboard
Same here lol
I haven’t tried this but I would love too.
I haven’t tried this brand but it is kinda outta my budget if I were to keep it up.
It is out of my budget as well…
Ive never heard of this!
I’ve seen it going around. But man so overpriced, makes no sense, price per mL.
So expensive!
Its sounds great, but is expensive.
Never heard of it before
$79!
I’ll stick with my stumpy lashes for now, thankyou!
Wow that is expensive, I usually pay less than that for my products
yup, 80 bucks per 1mL! I have used lash serum before, but none came in 1mL bottle. This is a joke to the consumer.
I wonder how long it would last, maybe a month so that’s $80!
Expensive!!
I’ve never heard of it and it is really expensive, so you would hope that it works.
I’ve heard of Revitalash but never used it because I’m happy with my lashes – it’s my eye brows that need help.
Haven’t heard of it and don’t like the price. I don’t need to add another expense to my routine. It already costs too much.
I’m happy with my lashes so wouldn’t need this.
Never tried that, it’s out if my price range.
I know I wouldn’t remember to apply this regularly. Also it’s quite exxy.
Serums are good. I’ve not heard of lash serum.
I use an eyelash serum daily, morning and night. Have definately noticed an improvement in my upper lashes, they are much longer. Less lash breakage as well.
Not a necessity for me
I’ve had moderate success with lash serum, but the problem is remembering to apply it.
I’ve tried one in the past, not this brand and it didn’t work at all on me.
If I was to buy this I would buy it because I wanted to not because of Meghan. I haven’t heard of this brand and probably wouldn’t try it as it is a bit expensive where as I do get perfect results from just using my mascara even with my sparse, short, light eyelashes.
I use Rapidlash every night and it’s worth every cent! It’s completely transformed my short sparse lashes. They are heaps thicker and longer. It does require regular application otherwise eventually your lashes will go back to how they were.
The tube lasts about 5 months.
Would be so keen to try this! Just a shame it’s a tad pricey
Costs a bit too much for me for an extra to my makeup routine
Have heard good things about Revitalash Eyelash Serum, glad that it has had some good Reviews will definitely look at getting some and try it out.
I haven’t tried this lash serum before, but the last time I tried one. It made my eyes really itchy so that went in the bin. So I am looking for a good lash serum
I do use lash primer, those white things you coat your lashes with pre mascara, but this looks good too
Not for me
It’s too expensive!
I am not sure I really need this in my routine.
I don’t think I am dedicated enough to use this every day.
Neither am I, it sounds like a lot of work.
Will have to check it out
I bought a lash serum from another brand a few months ago but I haven’t tried it. I probably need to put it in a more prominent place to remind me to use it.
Cool…
I don’t use lash serum.
I never knew I needed a lash serum until now..
It is so much work…I do some minimal these days.
The price…eek!
I haven’t heard of this product before.
I don’t think I can be bothered. I’ll stick with enhancing my lashes with mascara!
No but it looks good
