beautyheaven says:

The Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation has been designed to leave a smooth, matte finish on skin without caking. The mousse-like texture blends into skin to leave it looking shine-free and radiant.

Members found that the foundation blended in easily and left a natural finish on their skin and were happy with the medium level of coverage. Many commented that it felt really lightweight and helped keep any shine at bay for the majority of the day. Some did mention that, although the shade seemed very dark in the packaging, once applied it blended into a softer, more suitable shade.

Some members felt the make-up seemed to enhance some bumps on their skin.

Overall, testers were happy with the matte finish the mousse foundation gave their skin and were pleased with the longevity of the foundation.

“I personally thought that its non-liquid texture allowed greater blending onto the face and gave a more full coverage look. The application was very easy as it glided on if used with both hands and a brush. I used a brush most days and I found that it blended seamlessly into the skin and the colour match was pretty excellent too!” – chocolatelover.Read more…

“I love the consistency of it when it goes onto the skin. It just feels so light! I found it easy to use fingers to apply this, but I also used a brush lightly dipped into the product and then buffed it on. I would say the coverage is light to medium and the finish is definitely matte.” – breathesarah.Read more…

“I only used the size of a five cent coin and it covered my entire face with ease. I didn’t find much of a scent with this product, which I love! Using my fingers to apply this product, it turns into a soft, power foundation that covers all your flaws, and afterward I would buff it in using my powder brush to even out the spots I missed.  This foundation provides full coverage and easily covered my acne scars, which I have always been insanely self-conscious about. When I first looked at the product, it seemed about two shades too dark for my skin colour but once I put it on, it blended in to suit my shade.” – owlsparks. Read more…
“To the touch this foundation was very light and soft and did not feel heavy or mask-like on my skin. I found the coverage to be medium but could be sheered out to a lighter coverage with added blending. Additional concealer would be needed for higher coverage. This foundation did not feel like it contained any drying alcohol that some foundations targeted at oily skin can contain but still felt matte and not at all greasy or shiny.” – Jessica218.Read more…
