The Max Factor Velvet Volume False Lash Mascara is the latest addition to the False Lash Effect collection. It has been formulated to wrap the lashes in soft, velvety volume to create the perfect flutter.
The Lavish Volume brush has been expertly designed for a smooth application, with short bristles that capture and separate the lashes to deliver more volume at the roots. Working in conjunction with the brush is the new anti-brittle formula, which features natural beeswax for a softer lash feel without compromising on volume.
The majority of the members found the mascara was great to use for their ‘everyday’ look, noting it was particularly good at separating the lashes, providing definition and giving extra length. Some did note however, that it did not provide much in terms of dramatic volume.
They found the brush easily captured every lash, making it quick and easy to apply, although a few triallers mentioned they would prefer a thicker brush to volumise. Some members applied multiple coats for more defined lashes and found the mascara was buildable, but agreed the best results were when it was used for more natural-looking lashes. They found the formula to be light and soft on the lashes, with no issues in regards to clumping.

shes look and feel great after having applied this mascara. It is non-clumpy, easily brushed on, really enhances the lashes and makes them look beautiful. My eyelashes also seem to be quite lifted (much to my delight) without the need for an eyelash curler. The mascara wand has many tiny spikes which really separate and lengthen lashes individually. The mascara has enhanced the overall look of my lashes.

dering it’s a false lash effect mascara, I didn’t see the dramatic volume. But I did get great length and curl. My lash definition was impressive too – each lash was separated and looked clean. I love the packaging. The black and gold tube is super classy. It is a good mascara overall, but it’s great for clean, natural-looking lashes that need curl and length.
