When it comes to make-up, I’m a sucker for colour co-ordination. Be it bright, pastel, shimmery, or moody, if the hues all match I’m like a kid in a candy store – I can’t take my eyes off the buys and definitely can’t resist touching and trying.
So it’s no surprise that when the latest MAC colour collections crossed my desk I was instantly sold. Not only are the new hues up-to-the-minute chic, but the collection is split into four colour coded looks, that are each as lust-worthy as the next. Personally, I can’t decide which one I like best so I’ll let you be the judge…
Spring Colour 1 Forecast is a pretty pink dream. With everything from bubblegum lipsticks and lollipop lacquers, to a dusky rose blush and pinky-purple powders, there’ll be something to satisfy both the girly girl and edgy chic in you.
Spring Colour 2 Forecast mixes and matches soft shades of apricot blush and salmon shadow with vibrant tangerine polish and cute coral lipgloss. Sweep the shades sparingly for a sheer touch of colour, or go all out for an uber-cool style.
Spring Colour 3 Forecast is as rich and moody as it is fun and funky. Dark grape and dirty mauve shadows are perfect partners for a sultry smoky eye, while the deep berry lipsticks create a seductive statement pout in seconds. The lavender lipgloss also makes a fresh change from your run-of-the-mill lip hue.
Spring Colour 4 Forecast is a must-have for a beautifully bronzed beauty look. The caramel blush imparts an instant sun-kissed glow, while the copper, gold and frosted beige shadows lend a glamorous air to a barely-there make-up style. And guess what? MAC are giving away a couple of their fab Colour Forecast Eye Shadow Quads to two lucky members – just tell us which colour forecast you’d choose and why, and one could be yours!
