Lindsay Lohan may be known for her iconic red hair and freckles that she has sported since her breakout role in The Parent Trap. But it turns out the 36-year-old is also somewhat of a budding beauty icon.
The actress and glowing mum-to-be is the latest Allure cover star, bump and all. And she spoke openly with the magazine about her journey to motherhood. “I can’t wait to see what the feeling is and what it’s like to just be a mum,” Lindsay said. “It’s overwhelming, in a good way!”
Luckily for us, Lindsay also dropped the inside scoop on her beauty routine, from skin care to makeup. Want to know the secret behind Lindsay Lohan’s glow? Read on to find out what’s in her beauty bag…
Lindsay Lohan’s go-to beauty products
When it comes to skin care, the Mean Girls star has a fairly simple, yet targeted, routine. Back in 2014, Lindsay revealed to Into The Gloss that she has normal to dry skin, and “especially dry if I’m traveling and not drinking enough water.” (Guilty!).
Her holy grail moisturiser? The Avène Hydrance Rich Hydrating Cream Moisturiser ($40.59 at Adore Beauty). “For skin, I use a regular cream from Avène. I use pretty basic stuff for just daily care,” Lindsay told Allure.
The French drugstore cream is also a favourite amongst the bh community:
“Nice and hydrating I always wear a separate SPF if I don’t purchase the version with soft in it. You can pair a nice hydrating serum to use beforehand to lock in moisture if you are dehydrated a lot.” – Georgia_Orchid_Moon

If she’s feeling a little bougie, Lindsay reaches for the cult-favourite La Mer Crème de La Mer “like once a week maybe, just to really hydrate.”
Although her skin isn’t acne-prone, Lindsay isn’t immune to a spot every now and then. And as a spokesperson for Peter Thomas Roth, she swears by the Goodbye Acne Max Complexion Correction Pads ($54.95 at Cosmetics Now): “If I’m feeling like I’m getting little breakouts and bumpies, I use their acne wipes.”
As for makeup, Lindsay’s regular rotation features the Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Complexion Drops ($109 at MECCA) for a light no makeup-makeup finish, as well as her “favourite eye palette”: the iconic Dior Backstage Eyeshadow Palette in Amber Neutrals ($96 at Sephora).
And to perfect that gorgeous everyday blow wave, Lindsay uses the Dyson AirWrap Multi-Styler ($949, currently $699 on sale at Myer).

Too rich for me but Avene creams are nice. Nice to see her in her prime after her younger years. She looks older than she is so it did take a tool
