Fact: wide, bright eyes look more youthful. But not all of us are blessed with big, beautiful peepers! Thankfully, there are some tricks and techniques you can use to make your eyes appear younger and more refreshed.
In the video above, bh’s Debbie shows us three simple tricks for getting more youthful-looking eyes. Can’t watch the video right now? Read the tips below instead:
TRICK #1: Reduce puffiness, dark circles and lines.
The Lancôme Advanced Genefique Yeux Light-Pearl Eye Illuminator Youth Activating Concentrate has a flexible applicator with a cooling effect to instantly illuminate your eyes. Apply morning and night using the following technique.
Step 1: Apply the serum from the inner corner of your eye, massaging outwards.
Step 2: To nix puffiness and dark circles, use the side of the pearl to trace small, quick circles below your eyes, working from the inner to outer corner.
Step 3: To minimise fine lines and wrinkles, pop the side of the pearl on the wrinkle or line. Then, use backwards and forwards movements to dispense the serum.
Step 4: To widen your eyes, use the tip of the pearl to apply some pressure to the area underneath your eye. Finally, use your fingertips to gently tap any remaining product into your skin.
TRICK #2: Lengthen, curl and thicken your lashes.
Apply the Lancôme Grandiose Mascara to the outer corner of your lashes using a zig-zag motion, then slightly rotate the brush so it’s horizontal to your lash line. Use the same zig-zag motion to lift your lashes. Finally, use the brush to define the lashes – including those teeny ones in the inner corner of the eyes.
TRICK #3: Widen and brighten your eyes.
Make your eyes appear larger and more youthful-looking by applying the Lancôme Le Crayon Miracle to your waterline.
