At bh, we love seeing before and after shots of celebrity eyebrow transformations, but we rarely get to witness the actual work involved.
Thankfully, Kelly Rowland’s posted some behind-the-scenes snaps, showing us exactly what it takes to get her brow wow on.
The ‘during’ and ‘after’ shots were first shared by Kel’s make-up artist, Sir John (who also works with Beyoncé).

I know, it seems kind of counter-productive. But judging by Kelly’s after shot, the technique’s definitely working for her.
In my opinion, the soft, slightly lighter look is a lot more flattering than the bold brows we’ve seen in the past (although I’ll always have a soft spot for Cara Delevigne’s).
Plus, it’s a great way to get on-board the brow bleach trend, without taking it as far as former devotees Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian.
To get the effect, first use a facial hair bleach, such as:
Sally Hansen Facial Hair Bleach
Andrea Gentle Creme Bleach for the Face
Julienne Sensitive Creme Bleach (Kit)
Nair Cream Hair Bleach for Face and Body
Then, apply a brow pencil in a slightly lighter shade than your original brow hue. Here are a few member favourites:
